I'm approaching 50 and I've known and dated several women like this. AWALT still applies, the hamster still spins (at a faster rate than regular girls, if anything). These women are still searching for 'Mr Perfect', who of course doesn't exist in the real world.

They can't maintain relationships because they have created an impossible standard, but won't compromise because of their ego. As they get older, they get more desperate and wild-eyed. Their attitude results in them riding the CC longer and harder than most women, and their 1000 yard stare is PTSD Vietnam vet level.

I've met a couple of women like that and what I noticed is that they have dissolved their personality into their jobs. Even if the sex was good, there's no spontaneity and nothing to talk about except their fucking jobs.
