The past matters. In every era of life. How you did in high school determines which college you enter, your credit scores determines how much the bank can loan you, your criminal past determines which jobs you can take up. Everybody gets this, but for some reason this logic is thrown out of the window when it comes to relationships.

I went to school with two different girls – let’s call then Stacey and Joanna. Stacey was the girl who would party two times a week, blow a guy in the club toilet and then turn around and look for another guy to fuck later. Joanna on the other hand, had been in some type of LTR since she was 13. Do anyone really believe that a LTR with Stacey would be the same as a LTR with Joanna? I've had two relationships (was married to one) with promiscuous women who had much higher partner counts. They both cheated on me eventually but the attitudes they shared afterwards is what kind of honestly steered me away from dating promiscuous partners again. The its just sex it isn't a big deal and the what about me attitudes of them both (and experiences I've seen friends deal with also) kind of messed with me. I've been with women who had high libidos and partner counts higher then mine with no troubles, just the women I've been with who had far more casual approaches to sex haven't been compatible with me.

For reference I've had 11 partners my ex wife had something around 60 the other higher.

The first wife admitted to “around 60” dicks, and the other had a higher numbers. Both women were probably in the 150-250 dicks area.

My ex-wife was promiscuous prior to our engagement. Four years of marriage, and she wasn't faithful for more than a few months at a time. Co-workers, old boyfriends, guys she met at social situations. I was lucky to make it out without any diseases.

Who knew? Your wife probably had 20-30 dicks a year for the past 8-9 years, and you expect her to suddenly stop taking 20-30 dicks and commit to you.

I cannot speak to whether it is true of all women, but having both married and seriously dated several women who would classify as the traditional stereotype of promiscuous (one said she had quit counting at 70 partners during her senior year), the "are not fit for marriage/LTR" claim was true for me each and every time.

All of the women had an underlying casual attitiude towards sex which eventually became an issue when they would cheat and/or ask for an open relationship and/or not be "sure what what (she) wanted" and/or some other relationship ending event.

This beta wifed up a slut that had fucked 70 different when she was in her senior years. No wonder that it did not work

Lessons: You can swallow the pill, and the bitter reality, or you can end up divorce raped with half of your salary being paid away to some random slut. The past matters, because it is the best indicator for the future. There is a reason that people are giving their investment money to Warren Buffet and not to the young 23 year old right out of college.
