Even before finding this sub. I always told myself that if a woman is going to leave me for someone else or choose someone else. She needs to make sure the guy in question has 2 things.

1) He has to be better than me because hell...I can't blame her for leveling up. And why trade in your Ferrari for a Ford.

2) He needs to work as hard or harder than me. Because it might not be today or even a year from now. I will surpass him while remembering how you chose someone else.

Living with this philosophy has (unknowingly) made dealing with hypergamy so much easier.

I should maybe write a post about this. You can be a blue pilled beta and still be more successful than a red pilled “purist” if you have contingency. Contingency is more important than trying to “do it right”
