Summary: Slap a ho in a suit and you're a pimp. Slap a ho in a tank top and flip flops and you're trailer trash. What you wear has a huge effect on how people will treat you, do not underestimate it.

Something I rarely see posted or brought up here is dressing well. Yes, you shouldn't need to dress well, game should over come that, etc. etc. but just as much as being fit is important so is being well dressed. Suits are to women as lingerie is to us. Suits and specifically sport jackets are a signal of masculinity. It's so fucking masculine that women wear them to look more masculine in business. Personally I will rock a pair of jeans with a t-shirt and sport jacket and get complimented on how I look "dressed up" when in reality all I did was throw on a sport jacket. Now that said you can update/do whatever style you want, but do put some thought into it. Dressing with style will put you above 90% of men in this country, dressing like that makes you different, different gets attention, attention gets interest, interest gets you laid.

Things every man should have in his wardrobe other than the usual suspects:

  • A nice watch
  • A nice tie
  • A suit
  • Dress Shirt
  • A nice pair of jeans
  • French Cuff shirt and cuff links are a bonus
  • A nice belt

But TLC, how can I afford to get nice things?

Simple really, Look for good deals Look right here, Armani jeans, straight up for $32 bucks. I have one rule when it comes to my clothes, and that is that I never pay retail. I have a closet full of Diesel, Armani, Lacoste, A&F, etc. and I pay little more than I would had I went shopping at a regular department store. The secret here is to shop for summer clothes in the fall and winter clothes in the spring, just never buy anything at retail price and keep an eye out for sales. Abercrombie for example has $6 t-shirts. That's literally cheaper than fucking walmart and let me tell you if you have anything close to good size biceps the muscle shirts do wonders. Always only buy from clearance sections. Also stores like Nordstrom Closet, Marshalls, Burlington Coat factory all have designer shit at DEEP discounts. Never pay retail.

But TLC, Why would I want to buy into this consumerism bullshit?

One word. Signaling. having nice clothes signifies you have your shit together. Sure you can dress like a beach bum and still pull hoes, but that's more chad's style. We are shooting for better than chad. Women settle for chad when they can't find men like us. Imagine chad, then imagine chad with a good paying job in a suit. Both chads slay, but the well dressed chad has it easier. Now, this isn't just about getting pussy though. Imagine you are out at an event, you never know who you are going to run into, but being better dressed could certainly help if you are meeting someone who could help you into a better job. But let's go a step further. Let's say you already have a job, it's entirely possible to dread game an employer. I showed up super well dressed, and my boss got a little butt hurt and asked "when my interview was". I've continued dressing that way and he in his own words is "just lucky to have me for as long as he can". Get pulled over by a cop? Lot easier to get a warning when you're well dressed than when you are in a greatful dead t-shirt. Point being dressing well does not have to be expensive, but like anything else you do need to put effort into it. To figure out or check out different styles google is your friend.

EDIT: Ok a few of you have called me out about having a closet full of designer shit, my point wasn't to brag about what I have, my point was to brag about how little I paid for it lol. The point is you can buy nice shit for the same cost or less than what wal-mart charges. You don't have to pick the brands I laid out, they are just some examples. Fit > brand all day erry day, but you'd be hard pressed to find a good fit at wally world.
