As boys (and girls), we're born with an inate sense of coming out on top, e.g. 'I have the best toys' 'I have the best games' etc. As we evolve physically, we evolve mentally and psychologically.
As men, we develop with a sense of coming out on top (see the resemblance?) but this time, it's more to do with survival. It's common you see two men in a dick measuring fight about who has the best car (games), best wife(toys), best house, etc. But of course, not everyone is born with the ability to move on if something happens. Children with daddy issues or mummy issues move from the benefit of comfort since they more or less have to rely on themselves. This means that they have to find food, developing their social ability (not taking shit from anyone, learning to haggle or demonstrating their strength). These people ultimately end up being 'assholes' since they don't conform to societal rules since they weren't given discipline through punishment and public punishment such as jailing doesn't present a threat at all. Raw masculinity is present and that's why women are attracted to them.
That aside, all men have goals. Either to get the best house, best girlfriend, expensive phones. How do men do this? They find a solution like getting a job, going out to bars and meeting women at other places. When something seems almost impossible, men become desperate and pressure themselves to do all they can (a thousand years ago, if something was unattainable, such lengths would be reached in order to ensure survival). When you get a girlfriend, your emotional side lets down your guard and your 'goal' is fulfilled. As a child with loving parents, it's only normal to have goals of getting better love. A girl who gives you motherly love as well as physical benefits, your brain decides that you've reached your goal. When a sudden break up happens, your mind goes into overload and deems that girl as 'something unattainable' so what do you do when you're an undisciplined man? You go to such lengths in order to get her back. You become desperate because your mind believes that fighting for something means it's 100% certain to be yours. Men who are unfazed by the outcome become the fixation of women. E.g. ("No fucking me in the ass, Chad") Desperate man: "But why not? I do everything I can to make this work and I can't even fuck you in the ass, that's crazy". Chad: "Whatever" *sticks thumb in her ass instead"
Women become disgusted with men who become a shadow of his manly self over something, including her, just because he believes that everything he wants will be his. Because men always strive to reach their goals, and to the undisciplined mind, a woman becomes your 'unattainable goal', which spirals into a damning, vicious cycle since your desperate persistence makes her more disgusted, which is why it is advised to go out and meet people since you can fulfil your emotional, physical and mental needs. If women sense that you still focus on your goals when she presents a situation such as leaving you, they're more likely to apologise or beg to get you back as they thought that you'd throw your goals away in order to chase after her.
A way to overcome unattainable goals is to reduce it into something more attainable, e.g. 'I'll talk to 5 girls in a week', 'I'll fuck 2 girls within 2 weeks', 'I'll have a few lessons and learn a language', 'I'll take driving lessons', since you'll fixate your mind onto different, more attainable goals. Your mind can be your biggest obstacle since our masculine psychology has prompted us to reach our goals, no matter how hard, to ensure survival.
