Long post. If you won't want to read it, then don't. Complaining about a long post after reading it is the same about complaining about a long line at the box office after you buy your ticket.

I see a lot of advice on here from 14- to 21-year-olds who have "being a man" figured out. And to their credit, some of them have 21-year-old manhood figured out better than I did at that age. Kudos.

But far too many assume, or outright state, that their strategy and lifestyle will be the same at 35, 45, or 55 as it is at 21. This is purposefully ignorant, and frankly laughable. More than a few of these boys will end up married and whipped, or paying child support to their baby-mama, by age 30. It's called statistics.

I got married at that age, and developed more Beta tendencies, until I got divorced at 35 and saw what marriage can do to a man who doesn't maintain frame to handle it. I know better now and work to improve myself more than I even did before.

Want to know how to live when your older? How to have a fulfilling sex life? How to be a confident man?

Talk to older men.

I work with men of various ages. Three of us have made a regular practice of grabbing a burger and couple of beers once per month.

I'm out with Peter, who's 52, and Chris, who's 42.

Peter is ugly. No other way to put it. Been that way his whole life. And a bald head since he was 19. You decent-looking 21-year-olds who are proud of your "game," go try that on for size. See how you do. Yes, game involves personality, reading the situation, and making the most of what you've got. But when you're ugly, you're ugly. Ask any buffugly woman.

Peter is single, smart, muscular (lifts regularly), has varied interests and hobbies, makes time for his mother and sibling's families, and is happy. He occasionally has a plate, and he'd happily turn one into an LTR and grow old as a married man. But he doesn't bow down! He maintains frame, makes clear that he won't change half of who he is for some woman. Eventually these women lose interest because he's not willing to be their BB comfort provider as their estrogen depletes. You can call his tendencies MGTOW, but I reiterate that he gets laid more often (and with more variety) than most 50-year-old men.

Chris, at 42, is a father. Two 4-year-old boys, twins. Wife is a hard worker at the local hospital. Chris has more Beta tendencies. But he doesn't deal with shit tests. He maintains his own life, pursues his own interests, makes most of the important family decisions (let women decide the color of the drapes; you decide which car to buy), and plans the family trips, outings, and expenses. He knows he has to balance his Beta tendencies with dominant behavior around the household to maintain his LTR and sex life.

Me? I learn from these men, and others. One year out of an 8-year LTR, complete with marriage and divorce, I experienced how I gradually transitioned from AF to BB, and the resulting lack of respect from my now ex-wife. I spun plates for a few months, and now am back to my goal of finding a woman worthy of an LTR so I can procreate, pass on my genes, and build a family.

All of the "I'll never get married / have kids" talk on this sub makes me see that many men don't realize that men are the ones who have to ensure the next generation has world to be proud of--we know women alone will just screw it up. You don't want to have kids; that's your right. But then what's your plan for continuance of society? Numerous studies have proven that children raised in two-parent homes grow up with better life prospects than those raised by single mothers. Men raised by men with Beta tendencies will have Beta tendencies. Men raised by men with Alpha tendencies will be more Alpha. Which world do you want to leave behind?
