After losing 175 lbs, I've had my excess skin removal surgery (lower body lift all around tummy tuck + thigh lift) this week. They removed almost 4,5 lbs of skin tissue and I am currently learning to walk again.

Been working out consistently everyday since January 10th and I can now do 60 continuous push-ups and 16 pull-ups as of yesterday's workout (P90X)! Looking more fit too!

Back in the gym after being careful about PT and stretching.
Haven't choked the monkey in 10 days and a faint breeze makes me want to rub one out.
Routine is shaping up okay - wake up at 730 and meditate, stretch, breathing exercises.
Resume is improving every single day, studying hard for that.

Before finding this sub I weighed almost 400lbs and was drinking myself to death. I have always read history, philosophy, and human nature, but never applied what I had learned. I sobered up and realized I had to make the body match the mind. I've lost 70lbs and been back in the gym for 4 months now. Haven't wavered from diet once, only missed one workout due to work. Got some of my old karate buddies back sparring with me. I wish I started sooner, but better late than never. Long way to go, but I'm never going back. Civilize the mind and make savage the body.

I've been lifting for the past year and a half to gain muscle, and this week I started my first legitimate cut. It's difficult eating chicken and rice every meal. I've been using My Fitness Pal to count calories, protein, carbs, etc. and it works really really well. Started at 200 lbs, 6'3, and planning on cutting to 180 over the next 3 months or so. I'm probably 16-18% BF and I really wanna cut that down to sub 10, so by this point I'm eating <50g fat and 220+g protein while limiting carbs and sugars too. This is pretty huge for me considering I've been a soda addict for my whole life and this diet forces me to cut that. Anyways, thanks TRP for showing me the way!

Working hard on freeing myself from money and become truly autonomous. Began permaculture after months of theory and planted a tree from a branch. I also cut my own hair. I have a few holes, so I'll have to use a hat for a week or two. It was far more fun than waiting around on a chair like a fucking idiot for half an hour, no regrets, and not a dollar spent.

Also worked a ton on my vocals and wrote two fully fleshed songs. My goal of releasing an album this year is starting to take shape, which is great.

I was pretty active physically this week, but I should have spent more time in nature, that's something I need to focus on more. Fucking computers, man.

Genetically I won the lottery. Tall, dark, handsome, in good shape, killer smile, nice hair. Good genes.

Back in 2013, when I was 25.

I suffered from a case of oneitis for about 3 years. At some point, my dad came into my life and gave me a book "the fire from within" by Carlos Casteneda. I read it and accidentally swallowed the red pill.

My focus shifted from pedestaling women to total self improvement. I started lifting, dressed better, demanded respect at my shitty job by the way I now carried myself. Where before I was invisible to women, suddenly they started taking notice. Nothing could break my frame. I said the most outrageous shit about what I'd do to women, and laughed it off with amused mastery when called on it. Nothing mattered, because it was just a big game to me.

My dad saved me. I remember sitting in the living room saying "this won't last forever. I'm gonna fall asleep again and it will feel like this new life of mine was nothing but a dream."

Then it happened, I LTRed a plate that cheated on her boyfriend of 5 years to Fuck with me and gradually became beta again. My lifeline was transitioning my last plate into an orbiter and maintaining a perpetual dread game. This was all by accident, mind you. Never heard of TheRedPill before all this.

The LTR cheated, I caught her, did a hard next, and she became alphawidowed.

Then the biggest single mistake I have ever made in my entire life happened.

I spit up the red pill, my own dad convinced me to take her back. Not because he wanted to hurt me, but to make sure my frame wasn't weak. But it was. I went back to sleep. I took back a cheating LTR and became 100% bluepillbeta.

We all know how this part goes. My frame was broken, and once she knew I was confirmed beta, she left. I was broken for 3 years after this. I was RedPill and then I went BluePill.

The RedPill lense never left me though, and for years I chased after my glory days of being alpha. I don't think I can describe how much it killed me to have a taste of the RedPill, knowing you're being a betabitch, but forgetting how you got to alpha status.

Fast forward to today, I'm 28 now.

I stumbled across this subreddit by accident. I was suffering from another case of oneitis and when I was once again in the worst stage of the illness, this subreddit was like a light at the end of a dark tunnel. The problem was the first time I was RedPilled by accident, but you guys.. You guys showed me how to get back.

I will be forever grateful to all of you random strangers that took the time to share your experience and give back to the community that is the human race. Sometimes we stray, and we need a kick in the ass to remind us the way back to Red Pill Status. It sucked to realize the oneitis was nothing but a hardnext. It tore me up to tear all my dreams down. I should've remembered. I knew better once upon a time. Yeah, but AWALT.

Thanks again, guys. My dad tested my frame, and found it lacking. He showed me to never let anyone break your frame, even your own blood, even another RedPiller. You see, he's dying, and it was from his hospital bed that he told me in so many words that he can't be around forever to make sure I maintain RedPillAwareness. Being RedPill means to never lose sight of your goals, never break frame but if you do break frame? pick yourself back up and maintain. Don't go back to sleep. It was never meant to be easy, it's a bitter pill for a reason.

It doesn't matter if you were beta yesterday, all that matters is did you do your best to be alpha today. No? Then don't just give up, try even harder tomorrow.

In my mind, we all made progress today. The world is our oyster, take no shit from anyone. The whole world is already shitting all over us, don't do their job for them and certainly don't make it easy for them.

I welcome the bitter taste of the RedPill as I sit here drinking my black coffee. Like an old friend that I've missed for so long.

Feels good to come from being sick back to active lifestyle. After being sick for 2 weeks, I really saw how many events I missed and how my body changed for the worse (less muscles, more fat - I will get back in shape in no time, guaranteed.). While I had no trouble being completely alone for weeks pre-TRP ("Introvert to the core"), now I really missed friends, gym and all the good stuff. Makes you think if "i'm an introvert!" guys are really just making excuses why not to get out of their comfort zone.

[mini field report] Anyway, this week was kind of important to me, since it was the first time in my life that a girl, on her own, invited me out for drinks. Long story short, after beer I walked her to her place. I went in for the kiss, but she didn't want to and gave me a hug instead. I wasn't mad or anything, I dropped her that second in my mind and moved on. Went directly to a party and had a great time with friends. All this makes me feel good, because I didn't catch oneitis, and I dropped her the second I saw she wasn't into me.

A year ago I read two books that changed my outlook on finances. Yesterday I received a bonus, invested that into my Roth and maxed it for the year before I spend it on shit.

I'm rebalancing this Monday for 2017. Received a promotion too and keeping my budget the same so the extra cash will go to my brokerage account to invest in an index fund. After maxing my 401k, HSA, Roth I can only open a brokerage account for more savings. It feels good seeing my savings grow.

Greetings all

This week (and to some extent the week preceding it as I forgot to post) I have done the following. In summary:

Fitness

One new Deadlift 3RM PR, which I'm satisfied with. Felt like a left 1-2 reps in the tank. In other words, hopefully a new Deadlift 5RM PR next week.

New 5x5RM on Push Press.

Bench Press still fucking stalling, as it has been doing for the past three months. Incredibly frustrating. Been trying different methods to remedy the problem, hopefully switching to dumbells henceforth should do the job.

Cut continued for the second week in a row. Weighing myself daily. Will probably need to decrease calories come next week in order to reach my goal of 15 % BF for summer.

Partook in one MMA session.

University

Today I think I got ahold of most things academic things. Gonna do some academic cleaning up during the next week in preparation for my prep weeks for a big exam in late April.

Fuck me. How I always manage to make exam prep soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more stressful than I believe it has to be by being to intense. Goal for coming exam is to do hard work but plan better and take breaks (i.e. go out and enjoy myself, approach et cetera) on occasion to IMPROVE efficacy. Starting to prep earlier with the hopes of facilitating this.

Been trying to get a job on the side. Not trying hard enough. Hardly surprusing I've had no success.

Relationships

*Still a fucking virgin lol. Did not perform any approaches during the last week. However, did some the week before. In my mind, ideally I would do seven per week (one per day or more during the weekend). I'm gonna go out at least twice next week, don't really have a set plan for exam prep though. Fuck me - again.

*Had some mild success through Tinder. I know very well I should not rely on Tinder as it does not develop me nearly as much as IRL approach work. Last weekend I got my second date with a girl I met through the app, did manage to make out at the end (success by my standards). Problem is I invited her over to my place for this Saturday, she accepted. I "had to" reschedule as I live with my parents and the ended up being in town. Lesson: fuck being a little bitch unable to muster the courage to bring anyone home to my parents (within reason of course). Will not repeat mistake. Possible to salvage it with her though for next week, when they out of town.

*New Tinder date and 1-2 prospects that I will work on later this weekend. Really hard not to be a needy bum, in spite of me realizing it is much better both for my romantic prospects and life in general (productivity and so on) to be "unneedy".

*Been fighting too much with my parents. Really, they're exceedingly nice to me. My responsibility not to press the wrong buttons on them. Gonna look in to more possible options in order to move out during the foreseeable future.

General

*Still suffering from some melancholy due to the fact that I feel I'm not keeping myself to a high enough standard. Also sporadic outbursts of unneccesary aggression when studying bc of said failures.

*Need to find a gig for summer.

*Applied to a type of study/social trip with peers for summer. Don't know If I'll be admitted.

*Need to keep limiting wanking to twice a week.

*Gonna start each day with a one minute cold shower and daily planning.

I've been meditating more. I've decided to take it seriously, notice a few improvement. If I can't take my my mind I won't be able to achieve my goals.

Approaching has been going well. I went out went a girl last night and made out with her which is a plus to me. After rewarding that post here on approching for skill instead of the girl, I feel like it changed the way I see deduction now. Obviously I want the girl but since I'm a beginner in daygame I'll have to treat it as a skill(no shit).

I have the money to take an improv class but hesitating. There is this 9 month Graphic design course that I really want to take but it cost a lot. Not sure where to put my money in. Any ideas? I've been thinking about improv classes for a while but I wanna land a job in graphic design.

I think I might have worked out my problematic shoulder. Started judo again a few months ago. Left shoulder started to ache, a dull pain. Added bodyweight fitness during judo winter break. Shoulder got to the point where I couldn't lift my left arm over my head. Doc thought it was a rotator cuff injury, recommended rest. He wasn't wrong, but I've been seeing a massage therapist who has really helped me loosen up and rebalance.

Well, Wednesday night I drank way too much wine and started stretching....I mean to the end of the range of motion, to where stuff starts crunching, and just ground on those crunchies, for minutes at a time, in all sorts of directions. Hurt like hell even through the wine.

But at the end, I was able to hold my left hand over my head without pain for the first time in months. So I don't think this was as easy as "You worked it too hard, injured it. Now rest and it will be OK." I think that the shoulder was just not ready for all the extra strength and muscle mass I've been adding. Resting wouldn't have a done any good at all. I would have rested, it would have felt better, I would have (perhaps) started again, ran into the same problem, and given up. Continuing to grind has (I hope) gotten me past this.

It's still looser than it was, but it's tightening a bit. I'll be more measured stretching it out now. The bottom of the pull up position is good for that.

I'm going to the beach with some friends in a few months for some party festival thing. They're staying for 8 days but ill only be there for 4. They're trying to make me help pay for all 8 days even tho ill only be using the 4. I flat out told them no. I'm not sure what repercussions this will have. I might have to find a new place to stay or maybe some new friends, but standing up for myself felt good; it took confidence that I never had before discovering TRP

I've been hitting the gym five days a week for a month and a half now, and I'm starting to see progress on my weight lifting abilities - I've added ten or twenty pounds to every lift from the baseline I started.

Also reading through Art of War and 48 Rules of Power, progress is a bit slower than I thought it would be in this regard, I'm usually an avid reader, but I have two flights this weekend to put a serious dent in each.

Music production has taken a hit, I'm hoping to get back into the studio each day next week, this is my big focus moving forward.

I started the gym around 3 weeks ago. This week at the office a coworker told me "dude are you bulking up?" One of the things that was holding me back was that it would take me MONTHS or even a year to see any results. Can't believe someone noticed already in less than a month. I also have been eating a lot healthier and getting close to 200gr of protein each day.

I'm still on a high calorie diet but it's fine cos my metabolism is a beast.

Week 5 on Ultimate Diet 2.0 by Lyle McDonald. I've gone from 14.5% bodyfat to 11.2%. I feel amazing, look amazing and I'm ready for a bulk after I get excess skin removed via surgery (ex-fat boy, went from 260lbs to 155lbs and bulked up to 180lbs)

Lurked here for the past couple weeks. Read and soaked up all the valuable advice here and read the stickies religiously. Reading about Machiavelliasm however was what got the spark started inside. Over the course of just this week after applying dark triad characteristics to daily life, a HB8-9 has been trying to chat it up nonstop with me. My friend even mentioned one time he went in by himself and she just randomly brought up my name asking where I was and to go visit her one day.

Have also been eating healthy and lifting everyday. Not to ego boost, but I had a great body already before swallowing the red pill. The problem was I had blue pill mentality beforehand so I was wondering why I still couldn't get girls.

Also, even though it's not the biggest thing, I've had two HB-8's introduce themselves to me and gave off that happy vibe that they wanted to talk and get to know me more this week as well. (I'm always keeping the conversations about them, being flirty, etc.). Reading about how plate theory worked with other humans more helped me so much in learning about social interactions.

There's a lot more to learn, but swallowing the red pill had to be the best thing that's ever happened.

Fitness 23 yo, 5'7", 156lbs, about 25-30% bf 4th week at the gym. Increasing the weights every workout, making sure form is good. Weighing myself every morning after peeing, and tracking the weekly average, since weight fluctuates a bit from day to day.
Career Need to study more. Gonna start trying to get at least an hour everyday, more if I feel like it, but guaranteeing something productive everyday seems like a good idea.
Personal Trying to read more, which has been a lifetime problem, since I seem to start books but never finish them. Perhaps trying something like 5-10 pgs every other day would be a good start. Can be very charismatic when I'm with people I know, but should try to talk to more new people and make some new friends.
- Relationship 3 years. Pretty good so far, sex is always enthusiastic, with her initiating quite often. I have been making the mistake of pointing out my opinion on irrelevant things in which I disagree with her, which caused some unecessary fights in the last 6 months or so - gonna stop with that. Very conservative girl, submissive. Nothing on this front that shouldn't be fixable with some changes in decision making and fixing my body so i'm more attractive.

Took a week off from lifting last week when I was moving cross country.

Pretty much all my lifts have gone down as I returned to the gym this week. Disappointing that one week of not lifting has that much of an effect. Take it as a lesson men. Only take time off from the gym if you really need to.
