This post is going to be more of a journal rather than an article.

I've adopted to going out more often now, at least 5 times a week. And everyday I do something that pushes my comfort zone. Only a week ago I posted my first approach, and that's is because I am still a beginner and I don't know what the fuck I'm doing but I'm doing, lol.

I knew that I had to go out today, but I was feeling a shit-ton of resistance. I got out the door and in to the car, trying to think positively about today. During the train ride I occupied my time by reading the "mystery method", which I found a very interesting read. Once in downtown, I walked around for a bit, pretending to be a tourist, haha. I then headed to the bean, like I do every time (very calm place to daygame). I walked around the bean, pretended like I was waiting for someone, but in reality I don't have any friends. I noticed a cute petite girl walking around and taking selfies, she looked very artsy. After taking some photos, she started to walk towards the exit, but in my direction. I hesitantly ran up to her, telling her that I thought she looked cute and that I was meeting a friend in a bit, but I wanted to get to know her; responding very openly. We conversed about where she was from, and what she was doing in Chicago, having a casual convo. After a bit of this, she said that she was actually going to iceskate downstairs, and for me to come and check it out with her. I then told her that we should go grab a coffee and then go iceskating (stupid move), she agreed and we walked to a coffee shop.

Once in the coffee shop I bought myself a coffee but didn't offer to buy one for her (another stupid move, you don't always have to be a bad ass). After exiting the store she became more quite, and so did I. I felt like I fucked up the date, but I just kept on leading and stayed positive. We got skates, and she wondered off to iceskate before me, she was probably losing interest. I caught up with her on the iceskating ring. At this point I felt a bit uneasy because of all the indicators of disinterest. I pushed my comfort zone and started to open up more, asking her about her personal life and such. I then took her hands and showed her a few iceskating moves, teaching her to go backwards. Her eyes lit up and she now seemed more interested. After iceskating with her I walked her to the taxi and we exchanged phone numbers, and that's it. She texted me her name, but I kinda fucked up the texting haha, it's whatever though.

I really wasn't expecting to get a instant date so suddenly, prior to this set I only opened 3 other that week! So this was really new for me, I really felt confused because I never really had an experience like this in my entire life. I mean who would think that you can just meet a girl on the street and have a date with her so quickly?!

This definitely opened up my eyes to what is possible! With consistency and persistence daygame will work for you too. There will be highs and lows, but if you keep at it, you will eventually be rewarded.

Thanks for reading!
