I feel that time is counting. there will be a time when this great subreddit will be closed. so very thanks for your time to complete it!

[–]ziggitypumziggitypim 6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I often think about this. What will happen if it does?

[–]organist 17 points18 points19 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

forums will open at puerarchy.com

[–]suloco 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly, don't worry. If reddit throws us off the boat there are still vessels that will fly our flag.

[–]TACKninja216 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Why would they close the sub? I am not a huge reddit guy so I don't specifically know their policies.

[–]sundaybrunch11 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

people label this as misogynistic, sexist, etc. And since the membership is swelling, this is getting more visible. It's just a matter of time before we hit a critical point where powers that be will be forced to make a stand.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are subs on dead tranny asian porn. I'd hope that makes this safe.

[–]Endorsed Contributorredpillbanana 12 points13 points14 points 11 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Very nice anthology, and I'm honored to see that one of my submissions made the cut. I recognize many of the all-time great TRP articles and authors.

I especially like it when you have a submission along with a few featured comments. Great linkage too.

Two suggestions:

  • Have a section on "TRP controversies". TRP is not always united in its views and it would be good to expose people to topics that cause contention, e.g. sleeping with married women. TRPSubmitter's post on "bro code" is a good one to start with.
  • Publish this book on Amazon Kindle. Charge some nominal amount for your time, or publish it for free if you don't feel good about charging money. Watch the feminists blow their stack. If it gets banned, even better!

[–]1iluminatiNYC 8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I second the TRP controversies addition as well. It would be useful for someone on the intermediate to advanced track to see where people's heads are at.

[–]34098520345 points 11 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for your feedback. Your post was a great summary with tons of great links that got a great response from the community - cheers.

Re: "TRP Controversies" - great idea! I actually had four articles set aside about the recent back-and-forth about TRP and morality - I included articles and comments with perspectives from both sides.

I wasn't sure exactly how to work it in so I put it on pause until I could figure it out for the 3rd Edition. But I think you have the right idea. A new section based on your idea I think is the way to go. I thought about writing a brief (impartial) introductory blurb to each issue that would give context to the controversy for those not on the sub at the time.

I thought about writing a brief (impartial) introductory blurb to each issue that would give context to the controversy for those not on the sub at the time.

Sounds perfect.

The only other thing I would suggest (which you might have planned on doing already) is to have an intro for the whole section as well, maybe pointing out like iluminatiNYC did that it is more for intermediate/advanced track folks.

[–]34098520343 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Yes, great idea. I'll include a lead in as you suggest, and probably place the entire section later in the book. That way most people will be familiar with the ideas by the time they get to that section.

Thanks for the suggestions.

[–]more_awkward_silence 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You can charge as little as .99 for a book on Amazon. If you don't feel comfortable keeping the money donate it to charity. Phenomenal resource. Thank you for putting the time in to this.

[–]34098520344 points 11 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Thanks.

Putting it on Amazon or even making an on-demand print book is technically pretty easy. However, I couldn't accept cash for compiling the book without the approval of the mods and writers.

Donating the money to charity is a good idea. Maybe a men's group or prostate cancer research or something?

[–]Endorsed Contributorredpillbanana 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm pretty sure that you can make a Kindle book free, at the very least as a promotion. Maybe you can put it on permanent promotion.

If you do have to charge for the book and it ends up selling well, you could "make it rain" in TRP, thus making it less likely that it will be removed by Reddit.

It would be worth putting on Amazon for the reviews alone. Would be a hilarious mix of butthurt and appreciative reviews.

[–]more_awkward_silence 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Very good idea. Another thought. Publish it across all platforms, amazon, kobo, nook etc. Amazon doesn't allow you to set it for free but they will price match, meaning if you set it for free on B&N Amazon will price match to free within a week. I still say charge a buck and donate the proceeds to charity or go have a few beers. There will always be new content to keep publishing, and this is the only place that has made me truly appreciate women instead of throwing my hands in the air and saying "Hurrr durr chicks are dumb" so I have a genuine interest in seeing more men have access to this information.

[–]fr0i 9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'd like to donate to this project even if it is a couple bucks. You take from your own time to do this for the community. Where can I do this?

[–]34098520347 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I can't accept cash for it since the work isn't my own.

I appreciate the thought, though, thank you.

[–]Crushric 9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Cool, and thanks, mate. Read through first one and enjoyed it. Good to see this handbook is still in business.

Blackdragon blog.

He is a guy not very well known here and I think this is a shame.

He is taking the red pill to the next level. I strongly recommend anyone who has been here for a while and who understood TRP's principles to go read his stuff.

You might want to take a look at it and decide whether or not some of his stuff is worth adding to the next edition.

[–]TRP Vanguard: "Dark Triad Expert"IllimitableMan 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You might want to take a look at it and decide whether or not some of his stuff is worth adding to the next edition.

We don't have heartiste or rational male articles in this either, do we? It's a community project from what I can tell. Probably nothing wrong with linking to his site in the "manosphere websites" section though.

[–]34098520345 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I agree... I have the Heartiste or Rational Male blogs listed in the resources, and also a few links to articles from those sites referenced in the "Resources" section, too. That blog may be a good fit in that section.

[–]Movonnow 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well, I think his stuff deserves some space in it but that's just my opinion.

[–]organist -2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"His stuff deserves space."

Now shut your mouth and own your comment.

Don't surround your thoughts with caveats and weasel words.

[–]Movonnow 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Hmmm, I don't understand the meaning of your post. I'm not a native speaker, sorry.

[–]organist -2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

  1. stop saying sorry

  2. See the stuff in speech marks I wrote above ^ That's what your comment should have been. Don't talk like a pussy, if u want to get pussy

Blackdragon blog.

Cool, I hadn't heard of this. I'll check it out and add it to the resources. Thanks.

[–]ruboski 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I love this book, and thank you for the alternate versions (epub/mobi), any chance in the next revision we could get an .azw3 file type too for Kindles?

[–]34098520341 points 11 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes for sure. I will do this with the next version.

[–]ruboski 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thank you! Much appreciated

[–]redbluepilling 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

One of the nice features of TRP is that it helps aggregate information on specific topics from numerous sources. Perhaps you could add some to the already extensive Further Reading section. (It'd be nice to have offline versions of this content for the future if/when external sites go down).

For example: TRP and Learning Game by Wolfwoodd, Oct 21, 2013.

Entrepreneurship in AlreadyRed

Additionally, I looked through quickly and didn't see this post, Frame: Defining yourself as a "sexual being" (sexual frame) from the onset can make escalation significantly easier by TRPsubmitter, which, although a recent post on Nov 11, 2014, it stands strong.

More from the top of AlreadyRed could be useful, including the lengthy comments those posts tend to foster.

[–]34098520343 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Thanks for this. Great stuff.

I'll also work in some stuff from AlreadyRed in the next edition.

[–]bluedrygrass 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is gold! I suggest putting it on torrent sites, too. Not because it's heavy, but because it would be impossible to take down.

[–]AnonTheAnonymous 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

We need to print stuff like this into actual free paperback books, and just anonymously mass distribute to college freshmen males. That would take Time and $$$. But that shit would put us on the map.

http://redditmetrics.com/r/TheRedPill think we're well on our way

[–]BlueEyezzz 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Hey, great read, thanks! Quick question... I read the introduction, there is talk about what 2014 will bring. I don't know whether it is relevant or not, but is there a "strategy" or resolutions for TRP for 2015?

[–]34098520342 points 11 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

I haven't seen anything like "A direction for TRP for 2015." I think that's a great suggestion for a post from the community or a mod, especially given the sub growing so quickly.

If something like that pops up, I'd be glad to include it into the next edition.

[–]ziggitypumziggitypim 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Appreciate your efforts, brother. Will be using this handbook as a refresher from time to time.

[–]redbluepilling 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Thought of some more to include: Unicorns - 2 posts from around the same time with some good comments as well that new guys need to read:

Think you (or your friends) captured a unicorn? Think again. and

Stop looking for the fucking unicorn.

[–]34098520341 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Cool. Didn't know about those. I will check them out, thanks.

Thanks. LaTeX looks pretty cool. Haven't tried it out yet. That would certainly make the book look more attractive.

Will take a look at it for future editions.

hope the powertalk post is in there. that was really pulling the curtain away

[–]thebalrog_ofmorgoth 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

homie made it in EPUB, PDF and Kindle. Way to think it through bro!

[–]Modified_Hackware 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In short, we are being taught cradle to grave to take ownership of the anxieties of others because that will give us validation and preserve us from harm.

The corollary is that if there is a lack of validation or harm befalls us, it is because we did not adequately address those anxieties. Dealing with this shit crushes a man's spirit, so he will spend a lot of time trying to predict how his own behavior might generate anxiety in others so that he may avoid, deflect or manage it.

He pushes his own needs to the back while he attends to others, and isolates himself to reduce the sickening workload. This is the primary ingredient of the Blue Pill. -By brandor77.

I missed this one, it's brilliant.

I'd start reading it at any time. I arranged it so it begins with a basic introduction, then moves on to more involved discussions.

Might sound greedy of me but how often do you plan to update this thing? i.e. 3rd edition

Will this be an updated monthly or bi-monthly type of deal?

Sincerely, Hungry for Knowledge

[–]34098520342 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm shooting for February or so.

The third edition will add 20-30 new articles, and a new section.
