October 27 - Weekly Improvement & Progress Thread

18 months after discovering this sub as a cuckolded, woman hating, suicidal fucktard. It has not been a linear path, peaks and troughs, but at the moment:

The Good

27 days sober
10 days weed free, a biggie for me
No fap / no porn for way over a month, not really counting any more
After a year or so of 5 x 5 have switched to Texas method which is going well, personal records broken.
Diet on point still, no sugars, no processed food for too long to count, over 4 stone lighter that when I started lifting.
BPD ex wife being spikey when picking kids up, criticising my buzz cut and, frankly, fucking awesome body, I raised eyebrows, smirked, used the grey rock technique and politely kept my distance. Those BPD girls get into your soul and take a lot of getting over. There was a certain satisfaction though in seeing her hamster spin but mostly I don’t care.
Approached, got number, went on date and made out with cool chick.
Therapy down to one session per week.
Got second job.
yoga and meditation still going well.
Still doing cold showers.
Reading lots, learning about complex ptsd and co-dependency, understanding why I have been attracted to cluster B types and learning better how to stay present.

The Bad

Not productive enough at main work
Younger daughter being hostile to me, BPD ex whispering shite in her ear methinks, upset me. If they can’t hurt you themselves there is no blow low enough for a BPD to try to exact hurt. BPD girls feed on attention, like vampires feed on blood.
Was a bit retarded in my approach to cool chick, need to work on that even though I did get her number.
I need to approach more and get over fear of rejection.

The Ugly

Put cool chick on pedestal after date and forgot abundance. A sterling reminder of how much work I still have to do. Co-dependency takes some work to get over. But hell, this sub has changed my life, from potential suicide case to someone with who loves being alive. Just thanks dudes.

PHYSICAL My diet kind of went to hell because I am traveling at the moment. However, I am experimenting with increasing the amount of protein that I eat each day in order to feel full longer. I was able to successfully avoid eating from boredom while working on late-night tasks. Although it took radical restructuring of my workouts, I was able to make use of a local gym and do almost all of my normal lifts. Cardio was the easy part. I simply put on my running shoes and went for a nice four mile run on the allotted day.

WORK I was inordinately pleased that my training program for my two assistants has paid enormous dividends. Through social media and our networking system I was able to monitor my site and only had the need to step in one time for a situation that my assistant was unable to handle at his level. This is a departure from my predecessor's method, since he failed to delegate a large number of the weekly tasks. I feel that I have accomplished my mission in preparing my assistants well.

HOBBIES/SPIRITUAL My travels and the necessity of sharing a room made it difficult for me to practice the harmonica this week. I'm looking forward to returning home and getting back to work on that. My two-in-one tablet failed while I was traveling and I was unable to meet my writing goals this week, which I found frustrating. I continue to use the Android app Calm. Meditation has been hit or miss with me and continues to be something of a struggle.

I give the week about a 7 out of 10. A lot of good things happened, and I had some setbacks, but I still feel like I am improving.

Good

Got a new job where i make 20 an hour and get bonuses which is great cause i've been out of work for a few months now.
Had a even cleaner break with depression. For a while when i started RP i thought i had been cured but it is even better as of late i don't even get that "cloudy" feeling.
My vaule must be really fucking high as of late with all the improvement i did while out of work cause women can't seem to stop talking to me. (got a few numbers just sitting at my desk but no shitting where you eat so i told them i don't text even though there is this HB9 milf that i really would enjoy fucking)
I put on 20 pounds and my arms are getting huge i need to work on my legs.

Bad

Haven't really had the time to work out with the new job. I don't have a car currently so i have to rely on girls from work to take me and get me home. Its actually really stressful and makes me feel helpless when im waiting before and after work.
I keep fucking a girl i told myself i'd ghost but i have a problem with wanting to feel validated by women with sex
Working on my mental strength i realize my biggest issue is i dont FEEL like a high value male no matter what miracle happens and makes women wanna talk to me. I really don't wanna see a shrink so if anybody has advice ?

Low carb intake
Low junk food intake
Maintaining self-regulated positivity
Operating on my own terms

Needs Improvement:

Haven't hit the gym this week due to being busy at work
Haven't read much of my book this week

I've also been on this subreddit all week taking notes and commenting, just trying to contribute for every time I've gained something from someone else in TRP community.

If we're not working on something, we're not doing anything worthwhile!

feeling extremely calm socially. laser eye contact. slow deliberate movements. feeling way more alpha. focused on very "determined" breathing. rhythmic, deep and a bit slow.

week #2 of program done. have accumulated a lot of fatigue despite more rest days compared to my training routine before this current program.
No injuries. feel pretty great. things are pretty much exactly as planned.

School 7.5/10

Much better than last week, but still kind of meh. got most of my work done.

Goals 9.2/10

made some art for my boyz (paid) (photoshop). they fucking loved it.
above: inspired me to try out Adobe Illustrator. trying to learn it right now.
Won a reaction test in gym class against like 30 other people. felt DOPE.
made a little progress on a personal project vid #2.
Have many "happy moments". like really smiling about my life and my future, occasionally giggling like a school girl in private just being happy. feeling like my life generally is going in the right direction.

M, 25, 103kg 5'11 Attractive face, slightly overweight id give myself a 7/10 Have been a 8.5/10

Was in LTR was trp without knowing it then slowly turned bp / beta over 3 yr period.

Am now recognizing so many mistakes.

Slowly learning to hold frame. Workmates/ friends / women becoming attracted by me getting back to alpha mentality.

Lost bulk weight in these 3 months 12kg so far. 1.5kg this week.

Lifting 6days pwk Cardio 5 days pwk Diet is airtight now: 2170cals

Need to desperately get better at approaching sober and pulling back afterI have a number/ developed attraction.

The Good:

I am three weeks out from my first triathlon. My workouts have remained consistent but my diet is really messed up. I have had to increase carb intake to fuel the brutal cardio endurance workouts however my stomach is not used to this due to having a ketogenic diet for so long. Any insight on this would help.

I have interviewed for various contractor roles and although have not secured one yet, I feel that I can frame my story far better to sell my services.

The Bad:

I’ve gotten lazy spinning plates. I have only been with one as of late and predictably so she has begun to request more time.

I have been reading less and been tired frequently. I believe this is connected to training for the triathlon.

I’m consuming a shit ton of caffeine. Any insight on natural energy boosters would be appreciated.

Rediscovered TRP this week. Became interested a few years ago in my teens but I don't think I was ready to apply the material to my life.

Since then I've moved out of my parents' place, gotten my associates degree, and began working a skilled construction job. I'm just generally bad at talking to people. I've got a few friends. I've only had a few girlfriends in my life. My coworkers generally like me but it's a masculine environment and I'm at the bottom of the pecking order among the five of us.

So, for this week:

WINS

*Started working out again. I used to lift frequently and I had a pretty good body. It's still decent but I've got some work to do.

Started responding to every* quip and shit test someone gives me. This mostly applies at work. No more radio silence; I always try to come back with the snarkiest thing I can, even if it's dog shit. I'll get wittier.

*This is kind of a win and a failure. My coworker invited me to a party today. I declined because I'd sperg the fuck out and I didn't want that info getting back to the guys at work.

FAILURES

*I'm saving up to take a big, three-month trip in about eight months. I ate out twice this week. Normally I save money in any way that I can, so this was a big fuckup. I don't make enough that I can make this trip if I don't live very frugally for now.

GOALS

*This weekend, I will start and hold a conversation with three women.

*I'll work Saturday to make up for the money that I spent earlier this week.

*Sometime the week after next, I'll ask my boss for a raise. I'd ask sooner but we've got some power shifts going on in my team and it's a tense time. If he doesn't want to give me one I'll apply for three new jobs a week until I find something.

I'll clean my apartment this weekend and keep it clean thereafter.

That's it for now. It's been a decent first week. I'm looking forward to growing with you guys.

Finally realized that my ex is gone when i saw her with an other guy! Blocked her on social media and deleted her number. I guess - Im now ready to move on.
Going on vacation for two weeks :)

The Good

-Hustled for a few hundred bucks while in school full-time. It's been eye opening to realize I can make money without working for someone else.

-Did well on midterms, streamlined the study process so I don't waste too much time or spend to little.

-Got magic skills and parkour down. I really love having cool, fun hobbies I can do anywhere.

-Finally got on IMDb after a year slogging along with tiny parts in student short films.

The Bad

-Didn't write as much as I should have. Waiting for agents to get back to me is killing me. That's still not an excuse not to be working my butt off.

-My diet's crap. I've been skipping intermittent fasting, eating too many carbs, and not enough protein. Abs are made in the kitchen. Mine are starting to disappear...

The Ugly

-Blew off student government. Neglecting responsibilities because the commute is so hectic.

-Haven't done an approach in months. I've been so caught up with my goals and mission that I haven't been going on dates or working my social muscles. That's go to change. There is no excuse for being a freaking 18 year old hermit.

Improved: Came back to TRP after 5 months gone after realizing BP concepts playing out in my own personal life. Soft nexted my main problem girl (let the games commence). Finally decided to start trying to get a second plate, restarting the whole process. Made major fitness gains (body fat down to 10%, so still some ways to go, but down from 28% a year ago). Social value must have increased since rowing teammates are all asking me to run for captain. Started ice skating again, since its an easy date to escalate kino on.

Fails: All the BP things i noticed myself doing. Pedastalized formal date I haven't done jack with (she's since gone silent). Problem is she's the only other person to balance rowing a single (albeit not at the level i'm trying to reach), being captain, and rowing with the rest of the team, and is the best source of advice for becoming captain and managing the time commitments. So I kind of shit the bed. Hopefully she comes back before elections if not I'll figure it out myself.

i've seen more muscle gains in just 3 to 4 weeks of Madcow 5x5 then i ever did for StrongLifts 5x5/3x1 etc (not that SL5x5 wasn't useful, it made MC5x5 super easy in comparison)

it takes much less time too fugggg yuhhhhhh

Positive improvements: Recently bought my first house and started completely renovating the bathrooms. I finished one bathroom enough for me to start moving in. Still have some ways to go.

Accomplished a lot at work this week. CEO, VP, and my personal mentor are all very impressed with what I've been able to accomplish in the time I've accomplished it.

Side girl tried to leave me because she thought I wouldn't be able to give her what she wants. Managed to turn that around and we went back to her place that night.

Started going to a counselor. Spilled my guts and she said I was codependent and suggested I stop trying to carry other people's happiness and stay saying no. That was an eye opener.

Negative: I have a side chick. My ltr has been in turmoil over the last two weeks because I told her I don't want to be with her forever and I feel like we're wasting our time. Haven't mentioned the other girl. I need to make the decision to have just one of them and go with that.

Didn't accomplish as much as I wanted to this week on the house remodel and at work. Haven't been sleeping well so I'm a little sluggish. Stress from both the relationships and the house has really been affecting me. I need to get back to a better routine.

Same with diet and exercise. Haven't been eating correctly and haven't been lifting. I want to start that back up but it's going to severely cut into reno time on the house.

been tryna make progress in terms of frame/DGAF

Was eating lunch yesterday, mindin my own business and a gril in one of my classes who refused to go out on a date with me twice approached and sat down at my table. she asked me if i started an assignment and i told her i did not. i thought she was wearing a funny outfit and looked like an eskimo, so i told her that. She told me that i am criticizing her style. sometime later i noticed that she changed her glasses to horn rimmed ones, so i told her i thought she looks like harry potter in them. she got offended and said she was leaving but sat back down and left a few minutes later.

i was worried that i had offended her but then thought it doesn't matter since she already rejected me twice. what do you guys think?

Good:

Making progress in my lifts. Low reps at heavier weights has increased my one rep max.

I've also managed to turn off my "thinking brain" when operating on masculine emotion is beneficial. I have a bad habit of analyzing social situations and staying "inside my head" when something's bothering me.

Bad:

I've displayed orbiter traits around a girl I saw as LTR material. I'm having trouble with abundance because I feel like I missed a good opportunity.

The Good?

• This is my first proper post here. • Started missing my onitis ex – dealt with it through mental reframing in meditation. To hell with her and LTRS. • My mind keeping wanting to spit the red pill back out. I keep smashing it back down. • Got promoted at work last trip and Got another a payrise and improvement in contract this trip. • Smashed in a load of overtime at work – props from the boss – more cash in the old skyrocket come playtime. • Booked to do my skydiving licence. • Got booked in for a big piece with a pair of seriously heavy hitting tattoo artists. • Completed my therapy for life long low self esteem caused by neglectful parents. Know I’m still pretty beta, but I’m on the path, and I am fucking staying on it. • Training with more motivation and focus than ever in my life and seeing the results. Starting to look badmans and getting hench. • No sugar in 9 days, staying the course with the high protein and low carb diet.

The Bad • Stuck Offshore for another two weeks and getting the fear of missing out. • No access to women to game, can’t work on reduction of approach anxiety. Still so shit with women booked onto a bootcamp (Though looking forward to having fun and improving my game – Like I said, still Beta – but I’m on the path).

The awful • Still thinking about my oneitis ex at times. • No plates on the go.

For week 10-21 to 10-27 Good: * went to a work social bar event and talked with many people. Talked with completely unknown, unprompted females. They didnt want to talk with me though * Decided to prioritize myself and taking some PTO this week, will rest, heal, smile.

Bad: * 0/6 on my goals from last week. Losing confidence in myself as a worthwhile human being. * Did lots of overtime for my employer not because it was needed but because I couldnt face going home to my empty life. * slacked on Weights even though it was a deload week * Been wanting a woman, I want touch, cuddles, and all the sexual things. I'm having a hard time caring about my mission because i'm very focused on how lonely and single I am. I miss feeling like someone gives a shit about me. Its pretty clear no one does now.

Note: I traveled from Tuesday to Saturday this week and I consider my week from Sunday to Saturday (in general)

Fitness: I went to the gym twice this week (out of a possible 3 times) improvement in my habit the workouts were good. Aiming for 6 times this week and in the morning. Sleeping pattern is better

Nofap: making it 4 days then relapsing on the fifth day I am proud of myself for reducing the habit. However, I am underperforming as I want to go for a week or more.

Required Reading: Cause I traveled I couldn't do anything but even before I didn't read. I will dedicate at least 30 minutes a day to TRP reading. I did buy the charisma myth one of the recommended readings for self-improvement.

Education: Improved a little, I decided to follow my own path and start from the beginning. Still far behind. I but there is time to catch up and get prepared. Its important for my career.

Goals: Even though I have Health and education goals, I never thought about my career goals in-depth. I started to think about more and what I want to do exactly and how to get it which is a improvement.

246 pounds (down 3 pounds). Feeling good -- walking/hiking several miles most days.

Need to join a gym. Only two options in my little town -- neither is great so I think I'll go with the one that's closer to work and take advantage of the fact that no one cares if I take a little extra time for lunch.

Had the kids all this week which was great. Discovered that my nine year old daughter is a football natural -- she was throwing spirals within a few minutes of picking up the ball.

My nine year old also took a picture of me in our driveway -- when she showed it to me I thought I look pretty damn good for an old guy (first time that's happened in a while -- I've been avoiding cameras for a quite some time).

On the down side I called a girl I'm seeing when I was really tired (after driving for eight hours). That was a mistake -- its hard to maintain control in such situations and I let her steer the conversation to places I would have rather not gone.
