Lots of guys asking about rites of passage to manhood. Lots asking for a roadmap. Lots avoid both. Conflict averse, excuses to cover up a lack of approaching etc.

Guys both want the answer, and desperately avoid it at the same time. There's an authentic aspect to lifting, MMA, and game. It's that you're willing to face the rejection of your manhood in order to hone it, and it's obvious to everyone but them.

Social media looks to be lose-lose. I could be doing it wrong though.

It's like a shit test without a correct answer. If I post a picture of myself at the gym, for example, I'm blantantly seeking validation. If I comment on other people's posts, I'm seeking other people's approval.

Imagine if a man posted a picture of a dirty mirror selfie. I'm actually in high school so I've seen this. It's the most beta thing ever. If I posted a picture with my squad, who would honestly give a shit? I don't even look at guy's stories.

Now imagine if I comment on a girl's story. I've seen girls' snap scores go up to the tune of 200 in a 24hr time span. If she actually replies to every snap, I'm competing with one percent of her inbox that day. I've seen guys comment on fucking mirror selfies.

So my formula for a girl I don't know that well is 1) neg, then 2) logistics. That's it. I'd argue that the neg is still seeking approval.

Could be doing it wrong, like I said, but the theory is since social media is inherently approval seeking, you should treat all girls like a number you've already closed. You get one "flirty" text then follow up with logistics.

Posted this to the MGTOW sub - pretty sure it got deleted within 10 minutes. Makes sense since they really only post examples of AWALT rather than having a discussion. I basically detailed why I think MGTOW is a cop out.

TITLE

TRP vs. MGTOW - regarding RP theory.

INTRO

Let me start by stating the obvious. To be a MGHOW, you have to be fairly red-pilled, at least in terms of being aware of the hypergamous nature of women. There’s a reason RP content is in this sub’s sidebar.

BODY

A lot of guys on the RP sub will probably agree with something along lines of “MGTOW are just incels celebrating the fact that their incels.” I disagree. I’m not a MGHOW, but I think the MGTOW movement is a very rational reaction to what can only be described as very radical third wave feminist movement.

I believe MGTOW has it’s place in the manosphere. However, I think what separates TRP and MGTOW is the acceptance of female nature. For example, quite often on this sub I see comments that say “women are trash,” or something when referring to when a woman might abandon a man who loves her unconditionally when presented with an opportunity to branch swing to Chad Thundercock. Okay, I agree that’s pretty “trashy,” but, why is it trashy?

The answer is simple. Women have evolved to desire the most valuable man they can get their hands on in order to ensure the survival of themselves and their children.

Mutual, monogamous, human love really is a social construct you guys. That said, men are the romantic gender. This is the provider instinct in all of us, which is not only archaic in that it is no longer necessary to survive in the 21st century, but it is also pushed in media, pop culture, and literature (BP conditioning). Despite this instinct, I enjoy having sex more than being a provider, and I know being a provider is a turnoff to women, therefore inhibiting my ability to have sex. So, I simply don’t do those things and follow RP advice instead.

I use this example because, a lot of guys on here will buy into the phrase, “the only way to win the game is to not play.” Rather than accepting female nature, and playing it into their favor, I see a complete rejection of the system as a whole. They are aware of female tendencies, sure, but from there they just stop trying.

The current state feminism is nothing surprising to me, despite how ridiculous things are starting to become. In my opinion, the entire movement is just one big shit-test for the male populous, and will eventually crash and burn. This generation of feminists will come to realize their mistake, and raise their daughters to seek out strong, masculine men. The only kindling they have for their fire is blue pill enablers. Remember, women can only do what men allow them to do.. Think back to the Progressive Era. Who gave women the right to vote while simultaneously allowing them to avoid the Draft? - men.

CONCLUSION

The true definition of masculinity, not the dictionary one which even feminists are starting to manipulate, is being able to maintain level headedness even in high pressure situations, and still come out on top. Again, this is all just one big shit-test. As a man, the world will always be pitted against you. At birth, your life is put on hard mode. Every female you know has been playing on easy mode her whole life. Think about how women flock to Dan Bilzerian; deep down every girl’s dream is to have an extravagant lifestyle of hers paid for by a high status man for the simple exchange of sex. All she has to do to live comfortably is find a man to leech onto and maybe pop out a few kids.

Women are born while men are built.

I've always been interested in how a lot of women end up distancing themselves from men or leaving men who show too much vulnerability, which goes along with evolutionary psychology. Whereas, the happiest possible long term relationships tend to have a constant of mutual extreme vulnerability and connection, which goes along with attachment theory. I know that social trauma plays a role in all this, and culture plays a role, but so does biologically-embedded mate selection in men and women like female hypergamy for example.

One thing I know for sure is that the power of childhood trauma and teenage trauma on the forming of personality is incredible and extreme. Biological motivation is more rigid, and when the drives of sex and survival are both taken into account, it arguably cannot be changed. So I've been more focused on trauma and its effects on behavior and culture.

Game is getting more essential as 'access' to women becomes increasingly more difficult.

I'm not exactly sure the reason, probably smartphones or something, but 'night game' seems to have died a death to me. In the past couple years i've noticed that; unless you're in a student area, most clubs and bars are predominantly filled with men, and the fewer women there are over 30. Something is causing men and women of traditional 'dating age' (early 20s) to occupy vastly different spheres.

Maybe it's validation of instagram etc, or the fact that everyone has massive TV's now to distract themselves into continual binges of Netflix. But women aren't going out like they used to.
