I agree that in the US in particular, the extroverted Alpha is worshipped above all others. And yes, having connections is important for all aspects of life.

But no, you're not prohibited from success just because you don't want to join a pack or become a party guy. You can be an /r/introvert and still be very, very successful with women.

One of the things I've appreciated about watching the pickup community grow and mature over the past fifteen+ years is that it has gone from very rigid prescriptions for success to the much more healthy attitude of genuine self-improvement and psychological adjustment.

Of course if you're just scared of social interaction, that's something you should work on, rather than pretending it is part of your identity. Being honest about yourself, your strengths and weaknesses, and women, is the only way you're going to become the man you want to be with the relationships you desire.

No, you need to free yourself from the delusion that you know other men's motivations better than they do. There are plenty of lone wolves out there who've enjoyed being the leader of the pack, and got tired of it. I'll let Marcus Aurelius elaborate:

An alpha who is defined by and depends on other people is not very alpha at all.

You do have a point about being intimidated by larger groups (and maybe motivated by shame avoidance) but using connections and favours to build capital and then spending it on getting laid seems inefficient. You can do it but it actually takes more effort.

Fuck cliques. Befriend loads of different groups. One of the laws of power is use distance to create respect. I belong to no particular group but they all love me, the girls the most.

A few weeks ago I was getting drunk in a bar in Kraków, Poland that my friend works at. Around 2 a.m. I noticed a group of foreign, good-looking boys pimped-out in nice button-down shirts, fashionable shoes and with trendy hairstyles just standing there and probably wondering where did all the girls go. My guess is that they were at some small house party getting drunk on cheap wine with their likely less fashionable and exotic local colleagues.

Social connections are important.

Also yay for 48 Laws of Power, it's important to realize that game is life and life is game and women are just one of the prizes.

I only speak for myself.

It's not that I hate other people, or feel above socialising with them. It just takes a lot out of me and I prefer to socialise with one or two other people at a time. I make sure to get out of the house and I've set my life up to meet a fair amount of people when I do go out (aside from cold approaches). I'm open to tips from other successful introvert on how to get better at bringing more people into my life btw.

Yes lots of people are kidding themselves and are just shy and scared of social interactions. Others genuinely find it draining.

My advice to beginners. You probably don't know which you are. So go out there and push past your comfort zone.

If after gaining legitimate experience and real success you still find it draining then you will be sure you are more of the introvert / potential sigma type.

yeah nigga get some crew love in this bitch. Im having trouble reconciling alpha male crews though. Me and my friend are fairly red pill open and theres another social circle with tons of value in my city, problem is they have no interest in combining at all...which is a lose lose...oh well
