Australian here. Regardless of the politics I can tell you, from here on the ground, women have made themselves unemployable. The opinion of every manager I've work with in the last ten years has been that women are too much of a liability.

Politics and media be damned, employers aren't going to employ somebody if there's a risk of having to pay maternity leave. Especially when women are renowned for lower rates of productivity.

Let's get this straight: any woman can try out for the Australian cricket team and earn as much as any male player. That's equality. However, women are shit at cricket, and therefore have to play in their own cut-rate competition with no sponsors, viewers or public interest. And therefore the government (?) should somehow intervene and pay them a high wage to do so. The dependence mentality is sickening.

He's a smart enough man not to actually believe that bullshit, but he is media savvy enough to avoid looking as pre-historic as his predecessor. Which means hand-outs for the ladies of course!

Austrailia has always had a problem with leftist groups, seems like more than the USA. Self made multi-millionaire is more like it. Can you give an opinion of him from your viewpoint? Many of the sources I read were too leftist.

The fact that that Australia has a law requiring companies to report on the women they employee in what positions means the country jumped the shark years ago. There's no requirement to report on how many days of productivity are lost to maternity leave as a result of course.

From all the Australians I have met (which is only enough to qualify my evidence as anecdotal), I came to the conclusion that in terms of women/girls Australia is the proud number one on the list of worst countries ever.

aussies are still way more alpha than north americans. They're middle names are "cunt" ffs. The fightback in Australia will be much much much stronger and sooner than North America. I have no doubt over that. Angry angry people, those bunch.
