Good on you, man. Isn’t it crazy how she hasn’t text you once, even though you text her every day for 9 years? It’s like… As a beta male you don’t really exist.

Now, when she has hit a low point in life you know for damn sure what she will do: She’ll try to pull you back in to orbiter status. Maybe she’ll need a ride, or money, or attention and validation. Don’t give it to her. This woman is leach, doesn’t love you, she doesn’t even care about you as a person. You were a utility for her to use when she needed it. Cut her out for good and find your own path in life.

Welcome, brother. Read the sidebar, lift, and better yourself.

[–]madrealworld[S] 43 points44 points45 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thanks alot man. It's crazy as fuck but honestly I'm REALLY thankful that it turned out this way. Imagine me still being her little bitch? shieet. Finally seeing this thing from a completely different perspective makes it much easier for me to move on with my life. Peace out brothers.

[–]SplashArtist12 points13 points14 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Put on "fuck that bitch" on YouTube and joyfully dance to yourself.

[–]cntthnko15 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And whats worse is she did it all knowingly, that no matter how she treated you, she will alway have you to fall back on.

I feel like MANNERs were created just so girls would have something to fall back on when they fuck up, and they know they will. Just look at the word itself, its covertly trying to imply that if you have them, you will be more of a man... Man-ner, like big is to big-ger.

[–]1RXRob1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And when she does try to pull you back in, do not respond. Do not text back, do not let her buy you coffee, do not pump and dump. Any interaction will validate her behaviour.

[–]tropicalfire4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its actually almost sad. If I talked to someone for 9 years and then suddenly didn't hear from him, I would get worried, even if it was my worst enemy. She didn't even see him as a human being. My opinion on women drops everytime my browser loads this subreddit.

[–]I_have_secrets0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sadly, this is true. The strong realisation hit me when I ended my relationship with my ex. She never loved me, she used me as a utility as and when she needed it. I was too laid back, too naive to see how easy it is to slip into being Beta.

It hit me when the relationship ended. Despite being together for years, she has not contact me since. As morbid as it sounds, it feels like I have lost someone as it was so sudden and final. How can you not have even the most basic level of consideration towards someone you spent a huge portion of your life with?

I did myself a favour and now I am working hard, lifting hard and not giving a fuck. I will never go back to who I was.

[–]Notlegittocommit0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

According to TRP, girls start hitting the wall around 28-30. This girl gave OP most of her best years, and now he's as good as ever (presumably) and she's out of her prime. Yet she's still okay with leaving him and giving him low priority. What gives?

[–]TeflonDon300042 points43 points44 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I just never get sick of these stories! I love hearing about how much your life has turned around simply by changing your mindset.

Keep the TRP a part of you, and you will become whatever you want to be.

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points33 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Women vocally prefer "nice guys."

The secretly prefer assertive, unavailable men.

You'll find a lot of that happening online, basically everywhere online. Women use the megaphone of the internet to proclaim loudly how they prefer this and that and won't put up with yada yada yada, but when it comes to real life face-to-face interaction their thin words fall apart like single-ply toilet paper on a sandpaper asshole.

5 weeks really isn't that long to be reading TRP, but it's a good start. You should be very excited, but remember some stuff will take time. You might not fully change overnight, but at least now you're better aware of your actions and your place in the game.

Youre still a kid. My advice is to enjoy it and get out of it what you can while you can.

[–]TekkomanKingz17 points18 points19 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My car broke down one morning on my way to work (5 weeks ago), I call her up, pissed off and shit and she's like "oh that sucks so much!!! hey i gotta get to work, i'll talk to you later ok?".

Classic. Always there when she needs something and never there when you are in need.

[–]cmiovino13 points14 points15 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Welcome to the club. Please enjoy your experience :)

[–]grewapair12 points13 points14 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Those of you in this situation: it's MUCH easier to find these women who treat you like shit than it is to find someone who treats you decently. You can practically trip over women like this your whole life. There's always someone like this woman popping into your life on their own and if you're stupid enough to let them treat you that way, they rarely cut it off if you don't.

To find someone worthy takes effort. If you aren't willing to put in the effort to find them, including getting rejected 100 times for every one you land and filtering out the bad ones you do land, and aren't willing to be treated like shit (which you aren't, I hope), you'll have a very lonely life.

The day I snapped, this place was not around and I did not know how to handle myself. I shaved my head, latched onto my old friends, buried myself in work, gained a ton of weight, and was generally an asshole to everyone. There was a lot of self hate and I kept redirecting it at other people.

I know this whole revelation is fueling you spiritually but just remember that everything you're doing now is actually for yourself and not out of hatred toward another person...

[–]realdev 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lots of changes for five weeks, nice job..

[–]absolucion4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Good. Congratulations and welcome.

Honestly, you have to start looking at everything as a resource and learn to manage your resources. If a friend or a co-worker were to ask you for a ride, they would probably try to do something in return (e.g. buy you lunch, fill your tank, etc.). At best, you got laid and at worst a thanks in the situation with your ex. She was draining several of your resources and it cost her nothing to do it. You car breaks down and she doesn't chip in to get it fixed despite benefiting from free rides.

[–]smvking4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Congratulations on your realization and subsequent changes in behavior.

Understand that this specific girl just didn't treat you the way she does because she hates you or despises you personally. She is unattracted to the type of behavior you exhibited. This reaction from the female is consistently found through the female subspecies. Imagine touching a hot surface, all humans will react by immediately remove their hand from the hot surface. That is our subconscious reaction.

A man's evolutionary purpose is to breed with as many females as possible. Continue adapting and growing as a man. Align your self with qualities and characteristics that make an attractive man and reap the benefits.

The most valueable skill is to a prolific learner. Become a sponge and absorb knowledge as it is liquid gold. Read many books. Introduce your psyche to new ideas, experiment with them. Practice open-minded skepticism. Good luck on your new journey.

Your story hits so close to home for me that its kind of bizarre, I too am 28, left a LTR of 7.5 years at the beginning of this year. She was my first real relationship, so I'm 28 learning about the game for the first time atm... I too resided in the bottom of the beta pit, and had been unhappy in my relationship for similar reasons to you for a very long time...

The comment:

"The last 3 years we've been friends with casual sex every now and then. The last time I hit it was about 3 or 4 months ago."

Was also very close to home, I've been single for about 9 weeks now, and I've got about 5 plates on the go, I've been laid more times (By various 8 and 9s) as a single guy in the past month than I did in the past year in my LTR...which has been fun but more importantly I've started working on becoming a man... for really the first time in my life. When I try to rewind back to the beginning to understand how it came to this, and why its taken so long for me to discover what it really means to be a man... I cringe and blame the fact that there were no real father figures in my life, and I was educated and raised in an all boys school run by nuns, gay priests and old angry feminiest women in their 50's... combined with a society that for better or worse really prefers to shy away from manly principles.

The TRP is a realignment... a correction of paths if you will... its a resource of ideas that once learnt cannot be unlearnt, its like being blind but seeing for the first time.

wow, man. i thought i was the only one. haha. thanks for sharing. peace.

[–]argentinean2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can relate a lot to this story. Keep up the good work and enjoy the process.

[–]CornyHoosier2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's always the little things that we never notice about ourselves that push us in one direction or another.

However, once you do notice an imperfection about yourself, it's like an irritating bug in your ear that you can't seem to drown out until you stop it entirely. Then one day you wake up happy as a clam and realize it's been awhile since you ever thought of that irritating bug

[–]mdvolk 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I enjoyed reading this dude. Glad to see you've found the way. But it seems like you are still riding that Pink Cloud. Buckle down and keep spinning plates/lifting. You will see an exponential improvement. And the joy of telling her off when she comes crawling back will be so worth it. Keep us in the loop.

[–]2wiseclockcounter2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Avoid vengefully telling her off. Nothing will come of it. You may be right to have changed your mindset, but I can promise you it will be better to just move on and forget about her completely.

When she eventually realizes you've dropped off the face of the earth and asks you whats wrong, or like others said- reaches out to you when she's upset, just simply tell her that you've decided not to include her in your life and ask her not to contact you. She'll as why. Don't give in to the urge. It may feel good to tell her off, but the fact is she will not learn, she is incapable of genuine remorse (trust me), and explaining everything to her will really just be you jerking off your own ego to feel like you got that last jab in. Speaking from experience, you will feel a lot better if you just save you energy and manage to not give a fuck.

[–]madrealworld[S] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

thanks, this helps.
I was a bit worried about how I would react if she contacted me which is a possibility.

[–]2wiseclockcounter1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yea, as is constantly proven here, being completely calm and emotionless- as matter of fact as possible- will garner much better results. Like a heroine addict, she will try to fight the withdrawal from your constant affection, but hold fast.

Alternatively, she won't mourn your loss at all... in which case it's equally important to not give a fuck. You'd be no less a beta bitch by smugly waiting around for her to crawl back only to discover she's got dozens more orbiters and alpha dick at her disposal to replace you.

Keep moving forward and good luck!

My car broke down one morning on my way to work (5 weeks ago), I call her up, pissed off and shit and she's like "oh that sucks so much!!! hey i gotta get to work, i'll talk to you later ok?". Fine.

[–]Rougepellet1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Holy shit were you beta. I never thought guys who were that beta could ever be alpha, thought they'd fallen of the deep end and were gone for good. Nice recovery.

[–]madrealworld[S] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I didn't think so either. I was in a wretched pit of hell with no hope at all. I felt like my whole world would collapse and life would not be worth living without her. Nowadays when I get flashbacks or remember ways I used to be, I can't help but laugh. I'm fuckin amazed at how I finally managed to pull through this. Thanks bro.

[–]1IamGale1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's great dude. Keep at it. You'll never not be motivated to keep going because now you know. Now you know if that you were to stop you know what you'd go back to. You'd know just how bad it would get if you stopped improving yourself. You'd know how much you miss out on if you did stop as well.

Glad to hear you already have two plates, that's really fast progress after 9 years.

[–]1favours_of_the_moon1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Your life is just beginning!

[–]evilkenevil1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]madrealworld[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

haha, one of my plates shit tested me by saying "oh btw, i took a chlamydia test last night since you seem to think ive got aids or something!!"
my reply "hahaha, here open this condom."

[–]ucfgavin1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just make sure you stay strong...it sounds like you're doing great, but don't relapse!

[–]Endorsed ContributorRunawayGrain1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, you pulled out right before she hits the wall too. Don't be suprised if she contacts you at some point in the future fishing for a provider.

[–]madrealworld[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Her self esteem is pretty low and so is her self confidence. Wouldn't be surprised at all if she ends up single forever or "settles down" with a future beta provider and then breaks up, with children.

[–]almostaristotle 2 points2 points2 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Great story man! Good going. Which country you from? It always interests me to know where ppl are posting from.

I think I know someone like you in this story but he's married now and it's just too late to save him.

Maybe some day he will see the matrix.

Sweden. Feminist views are a bit different around here and I'm interested in knowing if there are any other swedish RP'ers and what their views are on female behaviour in this country.

I feel like this song is massively underrated in thus circle, and applies to just about all of us. In fact, it prompted me out of the seemingly perpetual beta-bitch-cycle. "So Much Better", Eminem.

[–]madrealworld[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

this is crazy. Didn't Imagine getting so many comments!!
I was pondering whether I should post this or not since I've felt like a pathetic bitch for being what I used to be. Thanks alot guys, I'm saving this whole thread for whenever I'm close to a relapse.

5 weeks of TRP isn't alot and I still have a long way to go, but since the positives outweigh the negatives I'm starting to believe in this more and more. It'll be a tough path to walk on but nonetheless exciting.
Once again, thank you all so much. And for the homies who have been in similar situations or even worse, know that there is always hope if you choose to change yourself.

[–]Shaft-of-Patriarchy0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

28, assuming you havent done any major damage to yourself that cant be undone quickly (Extreme obesity, no qualifiations or career etc) is a great time to unplug man.

It seems (at least to me) to be the age where you finally start getting that "Oh i want an older man who knows what he's doing" pussy coming on stream

In my mid 20s, every woman i was fucking was in her early 30s. Now as i approach 30, the average age is around 22.

Feels good mang, welcome to the rest of your life

[–]madrealworld[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

thanks dude. luckily I started lifting last summer and even though I dont have the body of a greek god i wake up early 5 times a week and work out. Started doing heavy lifting a couple months ago and its crazy how good it makes me feel. I aint stopping.

[–]smokingtransistor 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Welcome to reality. Stay strong. Keep calp and try not to be prone to emotions. It's hard to do this and you'll have many many thoughts of regret and wanting to go back to a state that is clearly damaging yet easier. Stay strong remember that good things come from hardships. And emotional ones are the hardest for us former betas and yes men. I had my own oneitis and i got used but hey i needed that pain to learn to stop being pushed. I know who am i and what i want and i do that regardless of anything. Good luck, stay strong, don't get too emotional take it easy and slowly as there will be remissikn phases and it is important for you not to fall back to your old you. Remember it takes time to change.

[–]madrealworld[S] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

thanks bro. this is why im going to save this whole thread and read through all the comments whenever i feel like i might slip. I never imagined getting anymore than a couple comments so this whole thread is my personal gold mine from now on.
Peace!!
