I found out about this sub because someone mentioned it in an AskReddit titled "What's the most fucked up subreddits?" Or something like that. They all were bashing this sub, calling it disgusting and fucked up, etc.

Ironically, I subbed and read posts from here all the time.

I told one friend about this place back when I was new and didn't get a good reaction. I learned from that mistake. Men have to find their own way here, it's not something that can be forced. Quite frankly I think the less publicity the better.

Public shmublic. I bash TRP in conversations all of the time. But I have embraced TRP in my decision making and lifestyle. Nobody sees a disconnect ("How can you bash TRP yet live it at the same time?"). Go reread the 48 rules of power.

People/ women don't recognize TRP actions as TRP. Instead they see a confident, healthy, aggressive, optimistic individual. In short- an attractive man.

TRP discussions are not TRP. They are the shadow against the wall that outlines TRP in the room. Men and women come to TRP on their own; talking about it doesn't increase the adoption rate or save anyone.

Something I learned from my mentor in business school is to never share your goals before you accomplish them.

Telling people you're going to lose 50 lbs makes you feel good. The support and positive reaction people respond with makes you feel good. You feel so good that you don't even bother putting in the effort to lose 50 lbs. Because losing 50 lbs takes effort while telling people you're going to lose 50 lbs takes no effort.

Similarly, there's no reason to talk about TRP. There's no reason to share how alpha you are or how much you've learned. No need to share all the things you're GOING to do.

Either do them or stay quiet.

Most of what's said here is just common sense that this subreddit doesn't have a monopoly on. I came into contact with the "RP" concepts on a forum with genuine free speech that I have frequented for years, long before I found this place. I actually found my way here because someone in the Sex subreddit said that I seem to be one of those TRP idiots, or something like that. That made me think that this subreddit has to be pretty cool and worth checking out.

Anyways, so long as you don't use the TRP vocabulary I think that you can convince alot of guys to better themselves and stop worshipping women because they have pussies. I mean, if someone came up to me and started talking about "dreading" and being a "Dark Triad Alpha" I would laugh and wonder what meds that guy is using.

You guys have it even more difficult in the US, with all the bullshit regulations, society is forcing upon you. But you know how the world works, higher risk = higher yield.

So it would make sense to be conscious when discussing what’s going on here and even more so who you bring it up with.

Another thing, I think what is being explained/done here works in the real world, partly because it is NOT the “main narrative” and more people (younger groups, 21-30 yo) are starting to perceive the ridiculous amount of bullshit in the world, therefore appreciate when one acts in a strictly no-bullshit manner.

Obviously don't bring it up but I've always thought If I was ever confronted about it for some reason I could deflect it pretty easily communicating that sure I know what it is but I also know and read about a lot of other shit too. Because I really do. i read about all types of shit. I read stuff I agree with and stuff I disagree with so what's your point. There's stuff I disagree with on here- well the actual words beating the drum, the ideas are still sound but I don't have to explain that
