I'd define hobby as: a regularly done activity that isn't work-related/work, a non-competitive exercise/sport, anything to do with shopping, eating or consuming entertainment.
Eg Hobbies: boxing, soccer, collecting shells, cooking(if done with real passion/enthusiasm), writing short stories, painting etc
Eg Non-hobbies: yoga, jogging, buying clothes, dining at pricey restaurants, going to concerts, watching movies etc

Having read the cited article and considered the alleged reason for the possible bankruptcy I'd like to suggest that the reason(s) for the failure might be that the low end potential customers are not buying because they simply do not have enough money to buy new goods and have to buy at second-hand stores. -- Employers are not paying enough to retail employees. Why is this? Because high paying jobs are filled by college graduates in high demand technical specialties (STEM) and other specialties requiring graduate degrees. I'd further suggest that those in the professions and skills focused cited herein are not attracted to the goods sold by forever 21 because they are more attracted to age appropriate goods. e.g. my brothers who are lawyers wear custom tailored business suits for business attire and denim and chambray for "at home" leisure and ranching side gigs [my family are ranchers at their core; therefore regardless of profession, they still ranch one way or another. I have many syblings; all have professional certification in something (MBA, CPA, JD, RN, MD, et al ...].

They start going down hill before the wall even hits. We look at the wall as being a sort of final defeat, but things can start to droop and wrinkle from mid twenties, even early twenties for some.
23 certainly isn't as fresh as 18 and a lot of women can know it.
I remember seeing a girl of about 18 walking through town on a summers day wearing very revealing clothes. She was clearly watching all the men checking her out and throughly enjoying it. I looked at her body. I saw her watch me look and she clearly looked pleased. I thought "OK. Good for you. I have a daughter and STILL won't date single moms. Bottom line, single moms struggle to pull their own weight let alone contribute. A single dad will usually bring more to the table. My daughter will be better off without them in that case.
Why bother with them at all? If you wanna date and have taken care of yourself you'd be surprised at how many childless women will still find you attractive.
About as many women find a single dad a deal breaker as it is not one, in my experience. Especially if you only have joint or partial custody, so it's not like you'll always have them.

Interesting thing this sub has made me start realizing because of someone’s comments. Notice she has a list of demands and what’s required from someone she’s looking for. She lists zero things that she’s bringing to a relationship. It got me thinking of an old relationship where my ex would tell me the things she expected of me as a boyfriend/future husband in a relationship. Yeah. That's pretty much a constant here. Women have a list of demands but never say what they provide.
The implication is that they are providing access to them and that should be enough.
The idea is that they are so used to guys approaching them for sex that they believe they have intrinsic value beyond simply their bodies. That is why they do not realise that as they age their value drops dramatically. They actually think that because lots of men are still willing to fuck them (or were willing to do so in the past) that they must still have value.
A better prospect for a marriage partner (if that is what you are seeking) is someone with an actual brain who figured out that most men that approach them want just sex and ignore these type of men. This type of woman also figured out that a man wanting to have sex with them does not add any value to them, even if the guy is hot, and is more concerned with men who want a serious committed relationship. This type of woman is a lot more likely to settle down in her early twenties with a decent guy in a serious relationship, rather than riding the carousel until she is thirty then wondering where all the good guys are.
I know NAWALT is a bit clichéd, but I think there are some women who are aware of biology and the fact that they have to try and control their baser instincts to prosper (that or their family drum it into them to save them from themselves).
