I have been very successful over the past few years and worked really hard to get where I am at. I’m the vice president of a large company. I own another side company that does extremely well and is growing rapidly. I invest in real estate and have several houses that I rent out. I’m accomplished in the community, and have been active in many networking groups. My passion is traveling and have been to 30+ countries. I have hobbies and I’m very social and outgoing. I’m good looking and athletic, I have no problem getting a guy to spend the night. I have a great group of girlfriends, I really couldn’t ask for better friends. People always ask how I’m still single (I hate that question). However I just don’t feel like guys ever look at me the same way they look at other girls. I’m coming to the conclusion that most men are intimidated by my success. I’m not the type to show off, but it’s obvious how hard I work and the lifestyle I live.

Yeeeeeeeah...men don't care about that. You're almost 30. Time to get some cats and accept the fact that you're about 10 years too late.

A couple of things:

You either aren't as attractive as you think, or your standards are too high (Thus, you're single now and will be until you lower those standards).

No man is intimidated by you (they just don't want to deal with your egotistical self).

Women need to learn that the average man is not attracted by what a woman finds attractive. Men don’t care about your financial succes, they look at a potential mate to reproduce. Which is why beauty and youth are so dependant on each other in male partner selection, along with purity (less dicks is better). The fact that she has no problem getting a guy to spend the night but has problems getting them to commit is the kicker here though: she likes the bad boy, the Chad/Tyrone etc. Men don’t have a biological clock, women do. Also on the topic of her once again being guilty of projection, she touts her career and wealth as if that is what men are looking for. Having a career and wealth is all fine and good, but not if you think it is going to increase your chances of landing a relationship. At best, it is a neutral factor, but in many cases it often makes it so that you sacrifice the very things that men are looking for (femininity, availability of time, years of youth spent chasing the career and years of education, skills that men appreciate in women such as cooking).

She also projects because she does not understand the reasons men have motivation to be successful and high status. That is, many men go out and earn money to get the attention of women. If men could attract the same types of women without having to put in the effort to work hard at a career and earn, there would be a portion of men who would not even bother working to the same capacity. She fails to see that the career and status are the means to the end and not the end itself for many men. If I earned 10 million dollars a year, why would there be a need to find a woman that also earns millions of dollars? We would already have the money we would need to live lavishly, and on a smaller scale, this is true with many high status men. Unless she is planning on being the breadwinner, what use is it for her to be earning so much if she expects the man to be a high earner (which she probably will thanks to hypergamy)? And if she is looking for a man to marry and have children with and plans on staying home to raise them, then what were all those years spent on her career for? Having money is great and all, and perhaps if she was pragmatic she would be able to put that money to use being able have no debt and gave the assets for her to raise the children without her needing to continue to work. But that brings up the other possible path: what if she has kids and continues to work full time? Unless she is fine with a stay at home husband (again, hypergamy probably prevents her considering this possibility), are they only going to have kids so they can have their upbringing outsourced? With so many wrong paths being possible, is it any wonder that her career is no asset to her relationship status?

Let's assume for a minute that it were true. Stating it isn't doing anything about it. Why are they not biting? Just stating it like it's' some immutable fact, is the lazy way to go about your life.

From her description, she probably bring home 200k+ a year. SO, any guy that she deems 'worthy' is going to have to bring home around as much, as well as being good looking, has a large social circle, and is well traveled just like her.

There are two issues at play here.

1) as was discussed earlier this week (Charlotte article) we don’t give a flying fuck about your accomplishments. We’re not women looking for men, were men looking for mothers for our children. A career woman would make a terrible mom.

2) the slut shaming movement. Put a big fat W in the men’s column for that battle, because what used to require a lot of time, effort, competition, etc to get (sex) is now available on an app for free. And the beautiful irony is that it was women’s idea. You’re never going to get a good man by spreading your legs for everyone.
