Hang in there! I’m dealing with anger phase and it sucks. Just now starting to have moments where the anger goes away and when it comes back I can control it. It’s taken me a long time it’s changing for e and it’s ducking worth it. Been angry at wife for 28 years. It’s a whole new world once you punch through the other side.

One turning point was realizing my anger had to do with my ego. Kill your ego. You’re not special.

Part of the resentment and anger comes from trying to control too much of this. Doing this or that just a certain way for a certain outcome.

Another big stumbling block that harbors the anger and resentment is living in her frame or vasilating on the past. The past cannot be changed. It is what it is. Thinking she will reject you is lacking OI and well, living in her frame.

Why are you in fear of rejection at this point ? In my case, I'm at just scratching level 4 and she is scrambling with diet and exercise, sweet as peaches and visiting the doctor on her own to handle herself, it's almost as if a switch has been flipped as she wouldn't dream of denying me. Resist the urge to squash your feelings. Embrace your feelings and try to find the root cause. In my case, I thought I was angry because my wife 'trapped' me. It wasn't until I fully embraced my role as a family leader with a mission--owned my shit-- that I could break free from that.

Eventually a switch flipped with my wife. After I started owning my life, she couldn't hold any resentment toward me. She had to examine her own motives and insecurities because my lazy ass wasn't part of the equation any longer. But her change of heart was almost a full year after I started getting my act together.

So take your time. Realize that how you feel will be different in six months. And that your wife really is a small part of the root cause of the anger. Patience
