For example, my ltr is extroverted.
Last weekend we went out to dinner with her friends because it was her girl friend’s birthday. There were two couples, us and another (the girl and her boyfriend, average but confident) and two other girls. Ltr talked with everyone but mostly with him. She laughed when she saw him looking at some bread in a funny way so she gave it to him. After dinner we went to their home, eat cake and played some logical table games. At some point my ltr said to another girl “take this thing” and he made a joke along the lines of “this thing sound like something else” at which she replied “stupid” while making a slight smile/giggle. The thing that pissed me off is that she said “stupid” in a similar, if not the same way she uses to say it to me (kinda sweet way)
I found it disrespectful. I confronted her (mistake) but I wanted to know if she was into him. Cause I’m starting to have enough. She said no and she didn’t know why she said those things in the same way she says it to me and that she realized what she said only after, and that made her sad. She apologized. Also she affirmed that she smiled at that joke because she didn’t want to ruin the night for everyone.
I’m her first serious relationship, she has lots of green flags. The only red flag is that she has three guy friends.
I made it clear that relationship means trust and mutual respect. Without those there is no ltr. Yesterday she brought me lunch.
What do you think? Is this disrespect or just my insane insecurity speaking? Or is she’s only being a kind extroverted? The only thing I know is that I’m running out of patience and considering to break up with her.

Not an unusual opening statement of a hamster.
Yeah... near cardinal mistake. It's tough to recover from this much beta-ness and scarcity mentality.
She said what she had to to shut you up.
So, the reality is that your girl just acted like that because your friend has some level of gravitas and she couldn't help it.
What does "friends" mean. You already tolerated this sort of contact so why should she think that acting let's say overly friendly with a guy in front of you is any less appropriate?
You see, you're confusing the girl.
Whatever you do with her, you're still the same beta with scarcity. Fix that.

For future reference, if this happens again (with any girl) how should I act ?
[–]mrpthrowa5 points6 points7 points (2 children) | Copy Link
How to act in this particular situation is to not show any insecurity and ask faggot questions.
How to behave in general, is to continue your journey to being a man, and to have a high SMV such that this question doesn't even register.
You're you, you vet your girls, you don't offer your commitment without making 99.9% sure that your girl doesn't pull stunts, and you continue to being a high value male.
Your girl(s) should be more worried about pissing you off than you about losing them.

Thanks, you hit the point.

This reminds me of a date I was on when I met my wife. We were at a club and I had taken this girl that I had dated a few times. We get there and she goes into the "playing hard to get" action, walking off, talking to other people (some people she knew, some guys), so I walked around and started dancing with other girls. I hit it off with one of them.
Afterwards, the group I was with decided to go to get a midnight breakfast. I tell this other girl where I would be and she shows up and sits down with our group (me). The girl I was with was pissed, but she was the one that walked off and played the game. It was an awkward drive home with her but in the end, I ended up meeting my wife. Married 25+ years. Abundance mindset does work.

I would expect an extroverted LTR to interact with everyone, with conversation, jokes and laughs. If you can't handle extroverted, find a different GF.
Personally, I wouldn't consider any of the examples you gave disrespectful. She said "stupid" a specific way, please?
[–]Cam_Winston210 points1 point2 points (4 children) | Copy Link
So far I see that she (a) laughed and (b) said the word "stupid". I have to be missing something.
Unless she did some Marilyn Monroe "Happy Birthday Mr. President" style delivery of a two-syllable word, I'm left to consider that this is simply a case of insecurity.
[–]edivadd[S] 0 points1 point2 points (3 children) | Copy Link
No but she said it as if she enjoyed the double meaning joke
[–]Cam_Winston211 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link
So? Looks like she was naturally attracted to something about that dude. Maybe not his looks, maybe it was the way he was carrying himself or his confidence or whatever. Or, that statement hit her at the right mood and she found it appealing. At that time.
Doesn't mean next time she sees him that she'll be attracted or that she's got a crush. She's a woman, they react to feelings & those were her feelings at the time. She was just naturally reacting. No different than if a comedian said something and you laughed....it was a natural response & you're simply reacting.
You're reacting to her expressing her feelings (of either attraction or amusement). By definition, you are in her frame.
[–]RedPillCoach0 points1 point2 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Of course she enjoyed the attention from the guy. Why is a little open, double entendre flirtation a problem for you? This is normal female behavior and does not sound disrespectful.
[–]edivadd[S] 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
As far as I know flirting in front of your man is disrespectful. Why you say it isn’t?
[–]mrp_awakening2 points3 points4 points (7 children) | Copy Link
Goddamn that was a long read for a non-issue.
Look man... she's gonna find other guys attractive. You're gonna find other women attractive. Who gives a fuck? So long as she's coming home and sucking you off at the end of the night, you're fine. If anything, it may rev her up some... if she goes home with you, it's a good thing.

After the confrontation we did it like rabbits. She is submissive and I was very dominant (reading stuff about sex god method). She came, was sweating and smiling
[–]CaliEd2560 points1 point2 points (5 children) | Copy Link
Good recovery. We’ve seen similar posts where the guy ends up whimpering and crying over his semi drunk just wants to get drilled.
[–]edivadd[S] 0 points1 point2 points (4 children) | Copy Link
His semi drunk? I don’t understand what you’re trying to tell me
[–]EveryGodDamnDay1 point2 points3 points (3 children) | Copy Link
"his semi drunk GF" probably
[–]edivadd[S] 0 points1 point2 points (2 children) | Copy Link
No we didn’t drink
[–]RedPillCoach1 point2 points3 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Another one on the spectrum. Why do we always get the aspies? I think it is because the normies read this and learn to read their woman while the guys on the highly functional/high IQ end of the spectrum are terrible at reading emotions. Usually you end up on AskMRP if you are screwing it up in some way so those are the guys we get.
He is saying you are in a better situation than some guys who come in and end up whimpering and crying over issues like this. Those are the guys who need to get the GF/wife drunk just to make her want sex.
[–]edivadd[S] 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Ah ok lol i didn’t understand that
[–]Countpudyoola 1 point2 points3 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Left my main comment on the asktrp post, but just to add another thought dingleberry for you to really absorb and see how it affects your outlook:
She's clearly the one in control of the emotional dynamics of your relationship.
[–]CaliEd2560 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Nice. The insecurity was pretty obvious, but he’s responding to her emotions, making it even worse. 👍🏻

This seems to follow the same general trend here of (other) new/young guys treating their LTRs like "In Case of Sex, Break Glass" objects.
IMO there is a HUGE difference between a casual plate type woman who you would only be with for a very limited number of things (sex, arm candy, work functions, sex) and have an expectation of limited dose extroversion or extremely predictable passivity vs. a LTR or spouse.
One of the things I'm struggling with Post RP ingestion is just how boring my wife is. Very placid, quiet anti-intellectual, non flirtatious, etc. etc.
If you are going to spend a lot of time with one person, they better be pretty fucking interesting. Let her have a personality. Nothing you've described sounds like a significant boundary crossing and, to be honest, reeks of insecurity.
[–]RedPillCoach1 point2 points3 points (1 child) | Copy Link
You think?
Mate guarding and weak. Why the frack would you need to ask a woman if she is into a guy. You have eyes, right? Women think they are being cute and mysterious but if you have red pill knowledge they are an open book. It is blindingly obvious she was attracted to him and we were not even there.
The question is why is that such a problem for you?
My girl tingles hard for Drogo/Aquaman. So what? I prefer young Demi Moore myself.
[–]edivadd[S] 1 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah but one thing is having tingles for some celebrity, another is have them with a person sitting on the same table. For fuck sake keep it for you at least. Don’t show it like that
[–]RandomlyChosenTitle 0 points1 point2 points (3 children) | Copy Link
It sounds like you went out with some friends to have a good time, and you're upset that she had a good time.
So she may have flirted with another guy you were there with (hard to tell just from text). What the fuck was she supposed to do, ignore him entirely or ask for your permission to laugh?
You're so deep in her frame that you're able to give us a play by play on their conversations. Try talking to the other women you were with instead of hovering around her. Not out of spite or to make your LTR jealous, but because the whole point of going out is to socialize.
[–]edivadd[S] 0 points1 point2 points (2 children) | Copy Link
What do you consider as flirty behavior then? On the socialize part you are right. That night I only wanted to see how she behaves in a group of friends since it was our first time going out with her friends.
[–]RandomlyChosenTitle 1 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link
It's not what a woman specifically says or does, but the subtext. Did she laugh at the joke because it was funny, or because she wanted to connect with the guy on an emotional level? Not looking for an answer to that, just an example of why context matters.
[–]RedPillCoach0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Ha! Now we have the full truth. Let me stoke your insecurity by suggesting that she may have "known" this guy in the past. Again, the question is why does any of that matter?
[–]Tbonesupreme0 points1 point2 points (5 children) | Copy Link
I don't think you're ready for a relationship. Burn it down before it destroys you.
Try again when you're not a faggot. If I already know you're a faggot, she FOR SURE knows.
[–]CaliEd2561 point2 points3 points (4 children) | Copy Link
A little extreme. He needs a healthy dose of The Rationale Male. Women are hypergamous, she was probably in ovulatory stage, but she still went home with him, not Chad.
Question would be whether he’s ALWAYS like this, or an isolated incident. Unlikely we will get an honest answer to that.
[–]edivadd[S] 1 point2 points3 points (3 children) | Copy Link
I’ve been insecure during the first initial months of the relationships, then some months I was ok then now I’m having these slip ups. Solving my insecurity is my #1 priority this year because I want to be confident in all aspects of life, not just girls. I want to be honest why you say that. I’m looking to receive your help guys so why should I lie?
[–]CaliEd2562 points3 points4 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Guys usually ego protect, they don’t consciously lie. But good to see you’re working on eliminating need for validation.
[–]edivadd[S] 1 point2 points3 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Just to add: I’m afraid of losing her because despite I showed her my insecurities multiple times she wanted to keep up with me, but I think she’s getting to a break point. I don’t want my life affected by insecurity anymore. I’ve loved too many years like that. Now I’m 24, doing a career I love (finally) and working to improve myself.
The fact is that when insecurity kicks in I can’t think to anything else. What do you suggest for this? Because I think that it would be healthier to be able to control this rush of thoughts and deal with them later, with a calm mind.
[–]CaliEd2562 points3 points4 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Oneitis brother. Most of us have been there. It’s a bitch, and it’s usually terminal to your relationship. She can sense your neediness, and it’s a huge turn off for her, especially given your (relatively) young age.
Sidebar reading is best advice. I would suggest The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi. It was the most instrumental for me in realizing the true nature of women.
Last tip. Every day, 100 times a day if need be, say to yourself
She’s Not Mine, It’s Just My Turn.
Once you accept the fact that she WILL LEAVE YOU, you becomes a lot less afraid of it happening. Ironically enough, it will decrease the chance of it happening.
Good luck.
[–]edivadd[S] 0 points1 point2 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Thank you guys, it’s clear now I fucked up this entire relationship because of my insecurity
[–]throwaway_for_me12 points3 points4 points (0 children) | Copy Link
You are not at a point where the relationship is not salvageable IMO, but you need to get to work.
Do you lift? What are your numbers, bench, squat, deadlift, bf? Do you feel good about yourself when you look in the mirror? Do you believe that if she walked, that you could replace her with someone as good or better than her and that you could do it in a week/month? That is the oneitis we talk about. Work on THAT
