Look at you, you are bound by social norms and willingly become a slave to their system. Why does it matter so much what your friends will think? They will think less of you, if you try to change.

Remember a time you talked to a friend who was bummed out but said he/she was fine, yes you felt they were not? Same thing. As long as you will be dependent on this social slavery, and second guess every move you make because of it, you will be perceived as a lesser version of your own potential. I suggest focus on breaking free of these chains before you become your own god. You shouldn't care about your friend's reaction to you doing game, as honest as it can be. When you learn to do that, two things will happen.

Your confidence will attract a lot of positive attention to you, and many of your friends will admire you for it.
You will be able to get anything you set your mind on in life.

I have to say man, your still very young, but you have a Major Advantage right now of being in school, it may not seem like it but girls literally are forced to be around you in some fashion 5 days a week for the majority of the day. Use that.... when your older you don’t have that and have to seek these women out. Just let things progress naturally when your talking to these women. And if you get a couple bruises and bumps along the road. Congrats, just like the rest of us we all learn the hard way. I also wanted to add that if you focus on what others think of you, you will constantly feel not good enough. So don’t, instead focus on you and what makes you happy, and by doing so everything good will come on it’s own.
