I had a relationship with a 50 year old woman for 6 weeks. I am 46. Why? I was fed up with my long term sexless life. I lowered my standards, and to be fair she looks at least 10 years younger.

Right from the start she insisted an Whatsapp texting several times a day. I agreed even though I usually use texting only for setting up dates.

The first time she started an argument with me was because their was a misunderstanding, and I had to postpone a date three hours. I apologized, but told her that if we had discussed the logistics on the phone there would have been no problem in the first place.

That was all It took to get dumped! She said she could have sex with a man only if she heed a deep emotional connection to him, which takes many month to develop. And with someone interested in "superficial" relationships she could not develop said deep connection.

Well, I know it was a mistake to let her control me by texting. But otherwise, according to our theories, her behaviour makes no sense to me. And to be honest, it hurt much more than being dumped by a much younger woman.

Is she really gambling to find someone "better"?
