I signed up with a fitness coach about 6 weeks ago and he gave me a diet to follow as well as a exercise schedule. The diet is a mix of macros but it’s basically 6 oz of lean meat , a green veggie like broccoli or kale, and a good carb like brown rice or sweet potatoes. I eat that 4 times a day, but for breakfast it’s egg whites and half a cup of oats. On off days I do this minus the carbs and those are replaced with almonds. The protein also goes up on those days.

Now the lifting is 5 days a week with a different body area each day as well as different types of lifts ( free weights, cables, machines , super sets, etc) .

The first two weeks I dropped 10 lbs and was looking and feeling great. I look and feel great still but I don’t think I’m getting the gains I want.

Am I being impatient or do I need to step up the amount of weight I’m lifting dramatically ? I’m putting more importance on the form and not the weight so I don’t injure myself.

I feel like a hit a plateau . Any tips?
