I am always reading two books, one to learn (currently The Fall of the Ottomans) and one to have fun (currently Ender's Game ...for the 100th time)

There is a difference between, "I went to the store today and got some milk"

vs.

"I went to the store because I had this huge craving for a glass of ice cold milk. So the traffic on the way was brutal! I almost got hit by some crazy lady in a Prius. But it was worth it because I saw this amazing Ferrarir parked outside the grocery store. It always cracks me up what kind of people you see at the store by the way, this really fat lady was buying all of this stuff and ...."

It was awkward because you were awkward. Girls follow your lead. If your comfortable, she'll be comfortable. With that said, you need to get her talking. When you get her talking she'll feel closer to you and trust you. Also, avoiding to talk about yourself gives you a mysterious vibe which turns chicks on.

Read. Get a hobby. Read.

Reading a book gives you a perspective. Reading different books gives you multiple perspectives.

Hobbies are great too because if you can somehow divert the topic to your hobby, you can talk quite a bit or you can relate it to somehow being relevant for her. Lets say you like Fishing. She likes nature. You can say "Oh I agree, fishing is my hobby and the views I get to see when I go fishing are amazing!" Hek, you can even follow up by inviting her to go hiking with you wherever you had a good view of.

Im gonna defer from the herd here and say reading isn't what you need.

Not to say reading isnt important, but it doesn't make you interesting to women.

Ask her stuff about her, actually being interested in her atleast temporarily helps a lot.

Get politically incorrect opinions. Figure out how to express them humorously. Get animated when you speak. Learn to tell a good story. Practice with your bros in bars and when doing activities (like step class in your room and stuff). This'll get you ready to just shoot the shit about anything with anyone.

Get hobbies, join clubs, do sports, do martial arts, read books, study history, take up dancing, always say "yes" to any opportunity.

Do exciting things, meet exciting people. In addition, make jokes and talk about bullshit that doesn't really matter. Women love bullshit that doesn't really matter, even the most tuned in, rational women love talking about bullshit. It's just the way of the world. If you've swallowed the pill this far, you should be fine with picking up an additional skill.

Ask people questions. Make it a habit.

Somebody paints for a living? Ask for his perspective. Somebody is a mechanic? Ask about cars. you get the idea. After a while of this you will suddently have much more to say.

stop humanizing how interesting you are and just follow your fucking nose. do you think dan bilzerian walks into a room and talks about how he's such an interesting stud? no.

Its the classic example of the archer tryinging to win the first place trophy. if you want the trophy, you give your undivided attention to the bullseye. if he looks at the trophy, even thinks about it, he misses the bullseye.

In that moment, you noticed her looking at you. "Girl, you had better be careful throwing eyes around like that, boys might get the wrong idea". that isnt calculated, its a playful way to say exactly what you were thinking. is it perfect? no. will it seem a little cheesy? probably. but who the fuck cares, life is short, have some fucking fun with it and take the word boring off your mind. it doesnt mean anything
