Just met you and already telling me your problems

Great, he can buy the first round.

"I have an uncle with three cats."

[–]DrKing_Schultz_8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So does my girlfriend

[–]InformationFetus19 points20 points21 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"You look like the type who could use two boyfriends" - always laughed at this one

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is a pretty fucking good one and I could see it always making the girl laugh too.

[–]2niczar12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ross Jeffries had this great line: "Oh, are you going to marry him? Ah so it's not that serious."

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"So do I, we're actually getting married next year." Then just go back to what you were talking about before.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I like this one.

[–]1flplatespin6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I always say : How long have you been together?

No matter what the response, I say" aren't you sick of him yet?"

I usually get a laugh, and sometimes even a number.

"I have a math test tomorrow ...oh I'm sorry, I thought we were just listing things we could cheat on"

GOLD!?!? thank you kind stranger! I normally don't even get up votes. You just made my day!

My God, it's like the blind leading the blind around here.

"I have two goldfish... Oh I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about things that don't matter"

[–]GrandCzarOfRedPill2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"That's interesting"

When she asks "why" respond with "I'll tell you later" then keep talking as if nothing.

[–]Lovesbrownies3 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Awesome, he can walk my dog.

[–]Meglomaniac1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"great, he can bake cookies while we go on adventures!"

Ive said that one two or three times. Always gets a good laugh.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"I'll steal you from your boyfriend" It's worked before.

[–]this-is-my-work-acct 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"I don't care"

[–]cosmitz3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Plus one this, the only one that doesn't make you sound like a prick and i think it's honest. Not that the matter is honesty here though.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But you still need a manfriend.

[–]laere-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Boyfriend? Is that some sort of STD?"

[–]abcd_z1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

If she tells you she has a boyfriend, it's one of two things. Either she's interested in sex with you and is telling you so you aren't surprised that she has a BF (possible but rare), or you expressed too much interest and she's not attracted to you, and this is her way of telling you that.

In the "not attracted" situation I'd cut my losses and move on, and in the "attracted" situation any clever response is really unnecessary.

[–]RPSavant0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't think it's as simple as that, as I find girls will bring up their boyfriends/husbands no matter if I am showing interest or not. Maybe it's some kind of shit test? I've also found girls who are attracted to me to be the ones bringing up their "boyfriends" the most often. It's almost as if they are looking for some sort of reaction to when they say the word. Maybe if you look disappointed at the news it tells them you were hoping for more? And if you don't react then maybe it puts their hamster on overdrive trying to figure out why you don't want them.

[–]abcd_z-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Are you talking about women who bring up their BF in casual conversation ("oh that's funny, my BF said the same thing," "I spent some time with my BF last weekend"), or women who flat-out tell you "I have a BF"?

I'm only talking about the second situation, since that's what OP asked about.

[–]gt35r0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Good thing I'm not interested in him."

[–]cascadecombo0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Cool" and keep doing whatever you were doing before.

Unless you are wanting to do a clown answer (which I'm not knocking) sweet and simple has always worked well.

[–]zeny_two0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"How nice! Does he treat you well?"
She invariably says yes
"I wouldn't" with a grin

[–]1kick6-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"I have a desk lamp. Wait, we're not just listing things that we have that have nothing to do with this conversation?"

[–]MrEiffel -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Then it's high time you upgrade to a man"

[–]Tiway22-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Awesome, we can all go out together!

[–]DrKing_Schultz_-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So does my girlfriend

[–]LukeMooney -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Maybe it's time you upgraded

Perfect time for an upgrade

All attractive women have boyfriends, the only way to get one is to take her off someone else.

Congratulations, when's the big day?

Yeah me too. Mines an athlete with a 12 inch cock, what's yours got???

Boyfriend-shmoyfriend. We're all friends.

What do you want,a medal?

I bet you do. (look at her in a sexual way)<-only works if your mojo is 90% full

[–]Dakenfr -3 points-2 points-1 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

"Okay cool, cya"

[–]robesta5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

That is only a good response if it's early in the conversation and she's trying to scare you away.

If it comes after you begin escalating and she's showing interest , she's probably looking for you to feed her hamster. I wouldn't go with agree and amplify, I'd go with:

"Cool, he can watch."

Or

"I just met you girl, don't dump all your problems on me."

And keep escalating. Her actions always mean more than her words.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I like the second one there, it immediately frames it as "if only I didn't have a boyfriend".

[–]robesta0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah. The biggest thing is to not be phased by it and keep plugging. She's obviously thinking about what she wants to do with you if she brings up her boyfriend.

[–]Dakenfr 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

My answer was purely based on my values, shit test or not, I'm not getting involved in anyone's relationship.

[–]Dreamtrain3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's cool and all but you're leaving option C out: The possibility of making her your wingman that night (assuming she has girl friends present). You still stick to your own convictions/values/code/whatever and you make the most of it.

[–]Dakenfr 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And I will agree to that!

[–]robesta0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bro-knighting.

[–]cascadecombo0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nah man, that's basically like shutting yourself down. Even if it's a boldface lie to see how you react you still should be a little more on point.

The whole issue is you weren't talking with her just to get in her pants, it could be just to kill time/see if you actually want to get in her pants/ blah blah, if pass that with flying colors she may talk you up to the hottie best friend she is there with.

Gotta use your head buddy.

[–]mithridates1-5 points-4 points-3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"Can you shake him?"

"Is he always around?"

[–]Tiway220 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

These are bad. You can't get serious about asking her to cheat on her bf straight up like that.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How does he feel about MMF 3 ways?
