TLDR: Asked LTR of six months what her n-count was. Expected her to lie. She did. Stayed with her.

I [29] am a home and business owner. I lift heavy 3 or 4 times a week and come from a prominent family (locally). I'm 6'5, 260, unaware of my BF%, but I'd say about 20-30 lbs over weight.

I was a serial monogamist until after my last LTR of three years ended a year ago. Thank God I found TRP immediately after the breakup because it has been the best thing to ever happen to me. I started lifting consistently, dropped a bunch of weight, grew my business, and my n-count went from nine to 36. The most important changes I made were becoming outcome independent (almost to a fault) and accepting that A-fucking-WALT. I personally believe if the only thing you adopt from TRP, other than lifting heaving shit, are those two paradigms, and can truly embody them, your life will improve drastically.

AWALT. AWALT. AWALT. All women have breasts... some have big breasts, some have small breasts, some have saggy breasts, but besides rare medical anomalies, they all have breasts. My point is, men and women, by and large, both have the same physical characteristics inherent to their respective gender; ergo, it makes perfect sense that our brains operate quite similarly to those we share the same gender. AWALT.

What am I getting at? If I'm being honest with myself, I'm attempting to justify that my current LTR lied to me.

She's 25, comes from a great family, and we've been together for six months. I've always been a don't-ask-don't-tell sort of guy, but the other night we were casually talking about previously sexual encounters and what we like/don't like. I asked her how many guys she had sex with, but prefaced it by telling her she can be open with me because "I like the fact that she has experience".

She quickly says she doesn't want to tell me and says she doesn't want to know mine. Her reasoning is that n-count has been a topic of contention in her previous LTRs and she doesn't want each of us constantly comparing or thinking about it.

I tell her that if she plans on staying in an LTR with me then I expect complete transparency and honesty at all times. She's still hesitant so I tell her to give me an over/under at least.

I know the next words out of her mouth are going to be boldfaced lie - she say's "under ten".

I tell her that she doesn't have to be ashamed of anything in her past and that I place no weight on her n-count. I laugh and tell her to tell me the "real" number.

She says "Okay, it's ten."

I expected the lie, so I immediately chuckle and ask "why would you say 'under ten' then?"

First she tells me she misspoke because I put her on the spot, but then after some light-hearted banter, she tells me she didn't want me to judge her for me being number 11.

I know, I know... carry the 1, take the square root, divide by 2 and then multiply by 17. PEMDAS or some shit, idk.

Longgg story short, I look her in the eye and tell her sternly "From this point forward, I will not tolerate lying in any capacity. If you lie to me again, we are done, no questions asked."

I then walked out of my house without explanation.

She texted me a couple hours later saying she loved me and that she was sorry. I simply replied "I think we should do our own thing tonight." She sends a few more "I love you/I'm sorry" texts, but I do not reply.

I go home a few hours later and she's asleep in bed. She wakes me up the next morning with a blowjob and then brings me a coffee in bed. I reiterate to her that I will not tolerate what she did ever again. She started crying and told she didn't want to lose me.

I dropped it and things have been great since.
