I (20) met a girl (23) at uni drama club a few weeks ago.
She was into me from the start (shit-ton of IOIs)
I see her every week at the club and we keep up a flirty vibe (over text too)
On top of that , she has been round to my place to watch Netflix 3 times (and we plan to keep doing this)
1st she came round, I tried to initiate a kiss 3 times over the course of the evening. She turned her head (or mine) every time, and we would laugh about it.
2nd time, I didn't even try to initiate anything. Mistake?
3rd time, I was a lot more physical (but I don't really know how to escalate properly). I had her sitting essentially in my lap, head on my shoulder, my hand rubbing between her thighs. I was too much of a coward to try to kiss her again. I just was afraid that she would leave (and never return).
At one point in the evening, my hand got a little too intimate for her liking (genuinely accidentally) and she told me to move it.

In short, how do you think I should proceed? How can I escalate things more smoothly? I'm worried of falling into the friendzone. She clearly knows that I want to get more intimate with her and she keeps arranging to come back to watch Netflix with me. I just can't read her, whether she genuinely wants me to lead the interaction towards sex or just enjoys the attention. Please help me, I feel so pathetic and naive.
