Personally, I find these explanations like "I prefer to meet in-person" and/or "I don't wanna chit-chat" to be pussy-drying.

If she doesn't give you her phone number (or whatever your preferred form of communication is) as soon as you ask, then she's a low-interest waste of time.

After that, you message for logistics only. Specify when and where exactly you wanna meet up, if she curves you, you just say "OK" and move on. Maybe she'lll come back in a few weeks and say "hey you still have time to meet for coffee?" or maybe she won't.

You can't verbally communicate "I won't pay attention to you if you won't meet up with me", you just have to do it.

(All of my Tinder exchanges are less than 6 messages. I have about 50 dead WhatsApp/Facebook conversations where girls didn't actually meet with me, but I can remember at least 10 times that girls hit me up out-of-the-blue after being initially uninterested.)

Why is it a shit-test to get to know someone a little bit first via messages? Seems like common sense to me, but I'm open to other "wisdom" on this.

Given Tinder and the likes is purely based on looks initially, it seems fairly reasonable to find out if someone is a complete asshole, boring as fuck, overly narcissistic, etc. before taking it further.
