This has been happening quite a often when I meet some new girl either online or from cold approach. We go out and grab drinks (no dinner). The check comes and the girl just does nothing. She doesn't look at it and basically expects me to pay. She doesn't even make a token gesture to pay her part. Usually, this is a major turn off of for me and they are getting nexted unless I really want to fuck them (either she's smoking hot or if she's an item on my list).

How do you handle this situation? What I've been doing is asking, "so how do you want to do this, split it with cash or put it on one of our cards?" Usually, they will offer to pay up at that point but sometimes they will try to pull some shit where they "forgot" their cards. Bullshit. Usually that happens when it went bad and they just want to stick me with the bill.

I will say that I think a large part of it is because I'm a doctor and they just assume that I should pay. Obviously I worked hard to earn money so I can spend it on some girl I just met.

Fuck that. It's not about the money. It's about the entitlement mentality.
