Why does only texting for logistics work?

I’m new here but I’ve read that you only text for logistics so you don’t fuck shit up. It’s harder to say what you’re really tryna say without your tone and all that other shit. Your also not tryna be her emotional tampon, and texting is like an easy pathway for that shit.

She wants your attention. If you give it it her without her being there, you're giving it away for nothing. What do you think about a girl where you show up, fuck, leave, and never even talk to her? Is she a slut or a whore, or something else?

Her currency is attention. If you give her that for nothing then why does she need to see you?

Plus, where's the mystery. She should have to fight to get details and information from you. If you just tell her stuff, then where's the fun for her?

B. When a chick is teed up to fuck you, shut up and let it happen. Don't overtalk/overtext, etc. And it's fucking easy to over-text because she hasn't shown up for anything yet.

For the more advanced this rule is more malleable; but still keep things short and concise to get her closer to you in person where you can actually use the natural methods of seduction (vs average chumps thinking they can convince a woman to fuck them through some persuasive text messages. Not impossible but not worth the time when you could be using your physical attractiveness, the simple effect of your presence, and game).

Texting a lot only hurts because it looks like you aren't doing much with your time. Not responding as much and with less words provides more mystery and gets the hamster going (she should be thinking "what could he be doing that texting me, clearly an attractive woman deserving of a guy like him, would not be worth his time?"). Texting only for logistics takes this to the next level as you are always seemingly doing something more worth your time (high value signal) and provides tingles when you actually want to go out with her.

Tinder and stuff good luck opening with just "dinner at 7?" or "up for a nooner?". If it's from real life where you've already initiated some kind of tangential plans before the phone number it's more plausible to get away with logistics only.

It's easy to fuck up over text. Ive done it plenty. I fuck up way less now. Gauge it and don't turn into a chatty bitch texting her "good morning" every morning.

That advice is probably repeated so often because it mitigates the chance of fucking up by skewing towards logistics only i.e. not being a chatty bitch.

With plates in your life I think it's perfectly practical to only text for logistics as they will sense your lack of thirst and compete for your attention.

What's your goal? If you want to LTR them then it's fine to text a bit more, but they'll catch the feels if you text them all the time and start expecting you both to be in some kind of relationship.

I text more than just logistics but I reply to messages approximately twice a day. I often look at my phone to see 5 messages about random topics and I usually ignore them and reply to the last one only.

This is a part of my abundance mentality. When it comes to texting I operate by (1) keeping my text short and sweet (2) text back in under 10 seconds when I read it, as in don't over think what you write (3) be direct and issue commands. They want to be led so don't ask them what they want to do lol

i text a lot with plates bc it cuts conversations down to the details without all the blabbering that women can do on the phone and in person.

I've recently found this out the hard way.

I tried to play mind games with a girl on Snapchat, ignoring her message for hours and then opening it and replying and repeat. But it just so happened I was messaging her friend and they were beside eachother.

She withdrew attention and so it's an ongoing battle to save this plate with no contact.

Would have been a lot easier if I just never sent those messages in the first place.

It's decent advice. Sometimes I answer but I keep it to a minimum. Basically only answering once in a while after a girl texts me several times or sends pointless snaps. Making sure the conversation ends fast. Hasn't really been a problem for me.

I don’t just text for logistics but I don’t text all day either. Basically if she’s boring I don’t text back, or if I have nothing to say I don’t text back. It works better than texting strictly for logistics for me, I guess it’s because I’m 18 and girls expect it nowadays, but after I fuck I lose some interest and start replying late anyway, sometimes only after days of not replying. But between meeting, and the meet up, I may tease her a bit and build rapport.
