Anyone switched from 100% using dating apps to 100% real life approaching?

I did this after using dating apps for around a year I stopped they are good at the beginning but it takes luck to find something meaningful.

I've relying solely in cold approach since December and it has been a good journey. it takes practice to approach confidently, start a conversation and ask for a number/IG.

Even I after doing it almost daily I still struggle sometimes and I still make mistakes (even fumble a legit 10/10 a couple of months ago)

I would say it's way better than online dating tho. you need to have a base level of skill but once you have it you will see how 90% of women will respond positively to your approach.

My social life as improve also sadly most women I've approach are already in a relationship but it has translated to me having more female friends and collages and having attractive women around it's always a plus.

Don't expect to get as many dates from your approaches compared to online dating at least in my case I was able to translate around 90% of my matches in dates but in real life approaches it's around 10% at maximum, you will get many numbers tho but most of them won't translate to dates.

in my experience you can expect 90% of women to respond positively to your approach, out of those 80% will give you IG and 50% will give you their number (this shows more investment on her side), then 25% will respond to your text and 10% will go on a date.

In my case, dating apps were a "faster" way to meet women since I work/study most of the time. I didn’t have bad experiences going out with women; in fact, it helped me understand them better. Based on what you mentioned about "wife material," it will be difficult in both cases—apps or real life—because you need to have a clear idea of what you want. Yes, you may go out with multiple women, but if you don’t set a filter for what you're looking for, it won’t be of much use. Best of luck!

Makes sense. on dating apps, the date intention is there via the match. assuming you’ve worked on yourself and stand out.

I’ve been mixing it up a bit. I was on the apps pretty hard for a while, but I’ve definitely started to approach more in real life. Feels more natural, you know? Less pressure, more real vibes. Plus, it’s kinda fun seeing who you click with in person. I’d say I’m not 100% either way, just kinda letting things happen and see where it goes.

Be careful out there a lot of apps sre trusty but not the people. Also if ure trying to hook up take the bars but if u want a relationshipdo the common life aproach. Peaople at bard go for a one night stand or just a meet and great

I used to use apps and I had great pics. I saw it as if I could sleep with one girl a month with fairly low effort it was a win.

Got banned on bumble and hinge somehow (wasn’t doing anything offensive) so just gave up on it. Preferred meeting in person anyway.

Haven’t downloaded any apps in over a year and I don’t think about it. In person is so much more rewarding

That question is always amusing and fascinating to me . To this day it baffles me that there are cute women who are walking the streets, coffee shops, malls, restaurants with free access, that anyone can talk to, and guys are still struggling to date . I observe a few things:

The general advice on how to approach women in public is sub par, so a lot of guys try it and think it doesn't work, or it's a "numbers game" when in reality they just don't know how to do it .
Most guys are not really motivated. They just want to play around for a bit , try a couple of things and see if it works. You have to dedicate time and resources to this. Otherwise you will waste years . Then you will give up bitter.

My daily life looks like this: I work, when I'm off I walk to a busy place, talk to a random woman that I like and take her on a date on the spot. If not possible I get her number and we meet another time. I tried a lot of different things and nothing compares to this .

So my first question will be: what is your main issue when it comes to talking to women in public places? Is it being a bit scared ? Unconfident? Or is it not knowing what to do?

In my experience, dating apps are a waste of time and approaching women on the street never works.

Women only date in their social circles.

I had more issues with stalkers and toxic relationships when meeting in real life than on dating apps. I think it's easier to filter people more objectively online than in real life.
