Well swaggboil420, if I'm in a situation and it's kind of loud, after the approach and a bit of conversation I like to lean in when I'm talking to her and put my hand on her lower back or waist, say what I have to say then lean back. A couple of seconds of touch, that's all. If she keeps vibing with you then it's probably ok to do it again and start escalating.

compare hand size(this one has worked great for me.I do have large hands though)
Lets say you want a girl to grab something for you. tap her. then point to the item(laim one but its something to start with)
high fives if you complete something. or agree on something.
shake hands when you first meet someone a friend introduces you to.

Your subconscious knows what to do, but you've been overruling it for decades, so you don't have a clue. If you get the urge to touch someone, just go ahead and do it. You've been erring on the side of caution for far too long; it's time to start erring in the other direction. Just do it. Even when you fuck up, you're not going to get arrested. Get over your fears and learn by doing.

I've stopped initiating kino and instead started focusing more on reciprocating it.

Girls that like you will make an effort to touch you (they're also way more natural at doing it). It's usually very subtle in the beginning. As long as you don't recoil when she brushes up against your arm you'll be good. The key is to be cool and accepting when she touches you. Don't make it into a big deal, let that comfort build.

Just start mirroring what she's doing and you're cruising. If she's digging you things will naturally escalate from there.

first of all stop calling it kino (I can't think of anything more awkward than that) and just be yourself. If it feels wrong it is going to creep her out, so get yourself in the right headspace before you do that. Just know that you're awesome and it all works out

If you are very awkward I'd recommend to work on your confidence first. Kino comes very natural if you are confident enough, I find myself doing it a lot unintentionally when I'm on top of my game. Just my 2 cents.

Once you have a fundamental understanding of the escalation ladder it becomes pretty easy to come up with role plays that incorporate kino on the spot, and they tend to be silly. I was walking a girl home when it was already dark out and i joked on how rapists come out during this time and she would need a bodyguard to keep her safe. "Rapist!!! Watch out!? She would playfully scream and i'd grab her hips and push her off to the side a little, get back on track and resume conversation. Rinse repeat a couple more times to gauge physical tension for further escalation.

It's also a good idea to make your own escalation ladder based on your own observations and preferences, watch couples long enough and you begin to see a pattern they follow in terms of affection levels. Break them down and incorporate the ones you feel communicate your desired expectation.

Here's my cheesy shtick that girls ADORE:

While facing her, ask for her hand, and hold it between the two of you. Trace your finger from her elbow to yours and start telling this story: "Our arms are a deep, deep river, and there's a little puppy stuck on this side of the river. He needs to get over to the other side, but he can't go over, swim across, go around, or tunnel under. There's nobody to help him. How does he get across?" She might give a couple guesses, but you keep shooting them down. Eventually she'll say she doesn't know and ask how. That's when you lean in close to her ear (since you're holding her hand, you can pull her in close to you instead of leaning, which will hint of dominance) and say, "I don't know either. I just wanted to hold your hand." Give her that sly "I know you're going to masturbate to me later" smirk, and watch her melt. After that, touching her should be no fucking problem.
