First off, just go date the guy already. It sounds like he deserves the chance. Just jack up the ol' feminine wiles and seduce away. You don't need seddit to know how to do that.

It's an interesting take on the friend zone angle. You are basically seeing him become more attractive to other women, less desperate, more aloof, more confident, and you are naturally falling for him. It's the crux of everything we teach on seddit, so thanks for validating the theory for us!

I'm not sure why you want to game back. Why not just take the plunge and date the guy? You do realize he will end up in a long-term relationship with another "HB" pretty soon if you don't. Could you handle that without becoming irrationally jealous and ruining your friendship anyway?

This really sounds simular to one of my recent experiences. I've had a very simular circumstance with a female friend of mine. We had been friends for a while and recently had talked to her about my game. She was more than willing to help me out. I had her take me shopping for a new wardrobe and give me a make over. At the same time I've been helping her to get in better shape by taking her running and hiking with me. There has been a lot of mutual helping each other out.

Things started to change in the friendship as well, we both started to become more trusting of the other. Then she had asked me to help her out with a project she was working on. We where up late nights working it, to get it done as quickly as possible. Normally when this had happend I would just let her sleep on the couch, but then one night she asked me if I mind if she slept in my bed.

I said yes, which ended up turning into multiple consecutive nights. The first night she took my throw pillows and used them to build a wall in the middle of the bed. I was tired and just shrugged it off and went to sleep. That night I thought to myself about what happend, then asked myself if this really was where the line was drawn in the relationship.

On the second night things started off the way they did on the first night. The exception this time was the wall wasn't as high and we both were having difficulty sleeping. So it ended turning into a deep hour long conversation between the two of us. Discussing a lot personal details about our past as well as things such as our flaws and anxieties.

During the conversation I had also started to knock down the wall and threw the pillows to the floor. Then we both ran out of steam for the night and passed out. The next morning is when things really started to change when the relationship was no longer "friend zone."

That morning we started discussing some the things we talked about the night before. That only went on very briefly, before I reach over and lightly started to scratch her back. She then asked me to massage it instead. Shortly after I started massaging her I had said that it would be better if I used some lotion.

I grabbed the bottle of lotion that she had sitting in her peruse. She pulled her shirt up halfway and I put some lotion on and started to massage her as she was laying flat on her stomach. The idea started to run through my head to see where the line was drawn. I then started to move from her lower back up towards her neck, to which she helped out and pulled her shirt up to where it was almost completely off.

As I continued on I started to move towards her lower back again and eventually move my hands down to her butt and massage there as well. I eventually wrapped up and rolled onto my back and laid there. She than rolled onto her side and started to run her fingers across my chest. And started to give me a massage as well.

We both laid there and then eventually started to cuttle. From there I started to take it further and began to start kissing her on the back of her neck. I continued this for a while and then eventually rolled her on to her back. I continued this for a while longer, then I worked my way up her neck to her lips.

When I made it to her lips, I was there just briefly so that I could pull back a little and gauge her reaction. She then said me that I was a bad kisser and that she wanted to teach me how to be a better one. I then started again and she was helping me through it. We where there kissing for 20 minutes strait, before I ended having to go.

Since then the relationship has been interesting as it's become FWB. We both aren't interested in dating each other either. Both of us still see other people, but the interest between us remains fun and lighthearted. It was kind of odd for me at first because this is my first FWB relationship. I guess what caused it to happen this way is that both of us have way to much to benefit from the other person and we don't want to fuck it up.

tl;dr Became FWB with a female friend and find it to be a break from other people that I date.

This maybe should be put into its own FR.

Obviously each case is unique but I think you can be somewhat forward with the guy and not ruin what you already have. I was once on the other side of your situation (I'm a guy).

One of my good lady friends came home for spring break a few years ago and asked me on a date, but I didn't realize at the time. I thought she was just asking me to come along with her, her sister, and sisters BF for a night out; (goes to show the mindset I was in). After I got home that night I was chatting with her online and she told me straight out she liked me as more than a friend. I was taken aback by what just happened. After that we dated a little bit but it ultimately didn't work out. But in the end we're still good friends.
