So I’ve been flirting back and forth with this coworker for a while. We’ve had some solid chemistry at work teasing, banter, even little physical moments here and there. One time I didn’t hear what she said, so I grabbed her arm and we got real close, like my face was by her ear, and she didn’t pull back. So the vibe has definitely been there.

Anyway, she mentioned something about texting me about a purse, so later that night I texted her around 10PM and said: “You were hyping that purse up earlier but you didn’t send it. You must not want it fr 😭😭”

It’s been some hours and no reply. I’m not tripping too hard, but I don’t want this to ruin the fun vibe we had at work. I haven’t double texted and I’m not gonna act salty, but I also don’t want what we had to fizzle out just because I tried to take a small step outside the work setting.

So I’m just wondering, what’s the best move now? Should I ignore it and act normal? Tease her in person like usual and act like the text didn’t matter? I’m trying to stay cool and not catch an L, especially since people at work kinda notice stuff. Any advice would work. Also I forgot to say, when she told me that I said “you do that, you got my number” in front of other coworkers and I kinda said it out loud. Don’t know if that impacted anything.
