Do things outside of sitting down and eating/drinking...go for a walk, go to the zoo, go on a boat ride, go to the aquarium, go on the big wheel...something than the more mundane activity of sitting down and eating and drinking, especially during the day, and as the better weather is abound, is a great way to build attraction / sexual tension. There is more going on around you to make innuendos and talk about than there is for lunch.

To create sexual tension you need to move her to a relatively more private location and escalate a little (touch and kiss), this is after you have been fun/flirty/funny etc in the initial stage of the date

My personal experience and talking to other people:

lunch dates suck compared to evening/ night dates. There is inherently less sexual tension.

The solution is to simply avoid lunch/ day dates as a first date at least. Probably should avoid for a second date as well.

Believe me, day or night, I usually debate sitting right next to my date, vs. across .... but try as I might, it usually IS a bit weird to sit directly next to someone while eating (unless there's a chair on each of the 4 sides of the table).

Make sure you're dressed sexy, gaze into her eyes, try to touch her (shoulder/ back) when you get the chance ... but lunch dates are inherently ... less sexual. I prefer drinks at a fancy/ dimly lit bar.

Is she a reverse vampire? Fuck the lunch date.

Lunch is actually bonding time via conversation, otherwise you need to be out walking with her, or cab hopping from place to place -- take her slightly out of her comfort zone, make it memorable.

Go to a park, lay down on the grass. Be playful, do kino stuff, roll and kiss. Or just be more intense with subtle things (you could practice this) like body language, tonality, pauses, chosen words, subtle kino (a soft hand caressing on the middle /low back during the day is really sensual and significant because at night It's very common for girls to be touched that way).

I know what you mean. Tinder matches will very easily agree to grab a cup of coffee/tea, so it would be very useful if I could create sexual tension there. But I could never figure it out. It's in the afternoon, we're drinking coffee so I just talk about university, work, travel, the fucking economy. I'm totally clueless on how to transition fun playful talk here.
