I've been doing daygame in Gothenburg for a few weeks, and it’s been the most challenging European city yet. Compared to places like Krakow, Tallinn, Budapest, Barcelona, Athens, Istanbul or Tirana, has been hard here for me to get results. Even worst than like a mid-muslims and conservative cities like Istanbul or Tirana, curious.

Note: I'm from Spain, girls here usually tell me If I'm from Italy or Spain.

THREE KEYS

  • The "Awkward" Factor and Excuses: Women often react with confusion or discomfort. Even when they seem to like the attention, the social norm of "men are introverted and don't approach here" makes the interaction feel forced or strange and they leave. And in other hand is surprising how many "I have a boyfriend" I've had, much more than in any other cities, typical excuses? bad
  • The Ghosting Loop: I can build solid attraction and exchange contacts still, but closing the date is nearly impossible. Conversations frequently die out or hit logistical walls, far more than in other cities.
  • Direct or Indirect?: In other cities I've been, being direct, bold and maintaining strong eye contact is a plus. In Sweden, this same "straightforward" energy seems to make women feel uncomfortable rather than attracted.

Interestingly, my only successful approach that ended with a date so far was with a non-Swedish girl, was from the balkans but living here in Gothenburg.

This is curious because other times I've met Swedish girls (not in Sweden, can be a factor) and I had extraordinary dates and sexual experiences as I saw them so open minded and adventurous.

Questions:

  1. Is Stockholm any different, or is this a country-wide cultural barrier?
  2. Is it a more volume game in this country? Do I just need to significantly increase my reps to find the outliers?
  3. Start indirect?
  4. Nightgame > Daygame? Because is more normal to meet people through alcohol?
