It’s possible that when you are interested in the girl your neediness and nervousness comes out which makes you less attractive.
You can also try leveraging the girls you don’t like into becoming more attractive to the girls you like through preselection. Friend zone them, if a girl sees you with other attractive women who are interested in you, you will seem more attractive to her.

i used to work with a girl in my 20s. she was not very conventionally attractive at all. that said she was by far the most magnetic person i have ever encountered. if she was single i would have shot my shot and if she said yes then probably married her. she was the coolest person in any room she walked into.
point being, you're talking about preferring blondes and i'm just here wondering if you care about the person at all?
[–]NinetailsDestruction 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What did she do to be so magnetic? Did she know she had such an affect?
[–]Canadian-Seductioner 18 points19 points20 points 3 years ago (29 children) | Copy Link
You're probably not as attractive as them. Everyone finds Margot Robbie attractive, but she doesn't find everyone attractive. Improve your attractiveness to get more reciprocal attention.

What can you do when increasing your attractiveness doesn’t increase reciprocal attention?

I’m 6’2 170 pounds. Super lean. Rock climber. Single digit body fat. Full head of just below shoulder length hair. Dress is typical northwest hipster. Nice clothes with an outdoorsy vibe.
[–]laserhar 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Sounds like you fit your environment. Shoulder length hair is not mass appealing in terms of females and attraction. I don't think you should cut it just to get chicks. Just be aware of that. Also 6 foot 2 170 is skinny AF. Put on some muscle.
[–]dheidjdedidbe 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Really skinny? I look normal. Think of a runner/swimmer or climber build.
I know longer hair is less common but a lot of guys have long hair now so I don’t think I stick out like a sore thumb.
[–]desal 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
lots of women like long hair. it's all in how you feel about yourself with long hair.

Super unattractive and overweight girls reject me all the time.
[–]Canadian-Seductioner 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Then something is off with your game, likely both inner and outer

I’m a well put together confident guy who has no real social problems. I’m well liked and make friends easily. Girls say I’m a great catch but they say they just aren’t attracted to me.
[–]ShortStuffV2 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
is your face busted
[–]dheidjdedidbe 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No, I look like a normal guy
[–]CometAzur42069 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
You’re probably none of those things and just delusional. It’s not easy to be objective on yourself.
[–]dheidjdedidbe 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
And if I’m not delusional by chance? Why do you doubt it?
I have friends, I live a comfortable life. I am social and approach people first.
[–]CometAzur42069 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
So you’re basically saying you’re somehow great at everything yet somehow have no success.
Tell me what’s more likely? That you’re not being honest or you’re the unluckiest man in the world. The way you talk about yourself already raises eyebrows. Like it’s a lie you repeat to shield your insecurity over your faults. Which is bad because now you’ll never feel the need to work on it.
[–]dheidjdedidbe 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
True. I’m just a guy on the internet. You don’t know who I am and you have no reason to believe anything I write. I have faults. I’m not perfect. I’m still working on improving myself.
Though I will say that my friends are often confused about my singleness. It seems like everyone else from all walks of life manage to attract girls. Hell, even people in prison have girls in their life. There’s no logical reason as to why girls don’t find value in me beyond a friendship. But here I am. I am still trying to figure it out myself.
[–]Canadian-Seductioner 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Then maybe it's just your outer game. Girls are likely just saying that to be nice

So I prefer chubby girls whilst I’m really fit looking… yet I get more attention from fit girls and struggle to get chubby girls interested.. how does that work?
[–]Canadian-Seductioner 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Idk man, I don't read women's brains
[–]sparklingwinepapi92 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Chubby girls feel insecure about fit guys because they think you'll get a lot of female attention and cheat on them.
[–]FaithInStrangers94 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What if I told them I have a fetish for chubbier women and showed them my porn browsing history to confirm it?
[–]Aggressive-Prompt655 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There is no deeper explanation, everyone is shallow and has standards. If you aren’t physically attractive enough to the person you are after, they don’t see you as worth their time. If the people you like aren’t finding you attractive then it may be time to look at your own standards and the type of women you go after.
[–]Zealousideal6669 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's that deep topic you're just not attractive or not attractive enough for the ones you care about. As simple as that. If you're generally attractive to any girls you never gonna have this kind of problem. Being attractive doesn't mean looking like the son of Brad Pitt and Zack Efron. It helps a lot ofc if you already have good genetics but looks is way more than your face only. Like how you care for yourself, your fashion, your body. These are still part of your looks as well. An attractive personality is a more important part luckily guys were attractive by our words/actions and attitude way more than girls do. She's just hot or not but guys' attraction is more simple. A few attractive things that you need to have to be generally attractive. Confidence, dominance, don't give af attitude, self-amusement, standing up for yourself and your boundaries, and so forth. If you got a few of these you gonna be more attractive to anyone

OP stated that he can get girls that are good looking (brunettes), just not his preference of good looking. Based on that alone, I think you should consider the possibility that sometimes things happen for a reason, and you may be dismissing the perfect girl while chasing one that's potentially a narcissist or bad for you. I know there's people who don't believe in manifestation or preordainment so I won't get Godly on you but my unsolicited advice - I'd give one of those chicks who are actually into you a few dates at least, a couple of weeks. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Girls want whom they can't have, someone who is out of their league, and one of the ways they determine that is from how approachable you are. Pretend that you hate blondes for a week, see if that changes anything.
[–]bobqat2 points 3 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Try this. Next time, when u talk to a person u like.
Don't show them that u are attracted to them for initial 10-20 mins.
If she is a blonde, tell her, "too bad you are a blonde, or else u would be so my type." Basically don't convey any sort of neediness or approval seeking behavior until u know she's into u.
From there do ur thing, tell her funny stories, make her laugh, show her ur personality (the one you have when u are with ur best guy friends). This should probably make her attracted to u. (You will know when she's attracted to u..)
After this engage with her in a normal conversation- find out what she does, where she is from etc. During this conversation seed a plan and then continue the normal conversation. When u feel like the conversation is at a high point..go for the kiss. If it's not appropriate try to move her to a place where u can kiss her. If nothing works go for her number.

Invest in yourself first and foremost. That will make you more attractive. Even If you are fishing outside your genetic pool.

Your desperation comes off like a scent to the blondies
[–]Appropriate-Spray-28 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Why are you attracted to blondes are you blonde yourself? You might wanna find out why you’re attracted to certain type of hair color. Maybe someone told you u should be attracted to that and u put them on pedestal and you fail

We as humans always seem to want what we cannot have. "The grass is always greener on the other side". I thought the same thing then I finally got one and it did not turn to be as good as I thought it was going to be. Intelligence and kindness are more important than we think.

Neediness and overvaluing looks over other traits, pretty common
