Yes! Get comfortable with being uncomfortable

Dress well, smell good, look good, smile, walk tall and confident.

These are all good tips so far. My formula: * Understand and adopt confident body language * Understand and adopt confident vocal tone and cadence * Dress in a simple style that you know makes you look good * Seek things that scare you, overcome your fears * Practise a martial art to learn how to handle yourself physically. * Master your attitude towards sex (I.e. eliminate sexual shame, build confidence by understanding women’s sexual desires)
I’ve written a whole “how to” series over here if you want the detailed steps.

Thank you. If there are any additional topics you'd like me to cover, please let me know.

It all goes hand in hand to create a virtuous cycle. Confidence helps build social competence, social competence reinforces confidence, conversation skills boost both, etc.
In isolation, each topic only gets you so far, and then you kind of fall off a cliff. E.g. if you focus exclusively on confidence, but don't learn conversation skills, you'll feel good up until the point you engage in conversation and find yourself lost for words, and that undermines your confidence and self-esteem again. (This is the why PUA stuff sometimes falls flat - if you only learn a few party tricks to attract a woman's attention but don't have the baseline abilities to hold it once you get it, you tend to start thinking there just be something wrong with you).
I prefer to break them down into separate topics because it's easier to learn things by "chunking them down". Also, my main audience tends to be mature men who find themselves back in the dating scene after LTRs end, and they don't have the time to read everything all at once!

Get really good at doing something.
[–]simplyaguyonline 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, I work really really hard, every single day, so that I'm so good at what I do that I know I can do it. So that when other people question if I can do it, I know I can.
Hope that helps.

It’s ok to fail too. Be willing to give yourself grace or you will turn into a sociopath. It’s a balance. I left that part out.

Thanks I appreciate it

Have you met a girl who turns her back to you when you approach to her saying "hi"?
What about the feeling from your body when you say "Hi" to a girl and the girl is saying "excuse me", or maybe she says nothing?
You see... having confidence is just a small step because the above scenario is a turn-off for any confident guy who is not prepared for bad things.
A few months ago I was in town with a super confident guy but after 4 girls in a row have not even looked at him, he was at the point to go home and forget about picking up girls... you must also know how to recover from rejection because it is not enough to be confident.
Ahhhh ok I understand what you’re getting at. That’s a good point I haven’t thought about.

I think this could be helpfull:

'flip the script of cause and effect'
So it's about assuming selfworth and confidence by using your own standards ('owning the frame' essentially), but on a deeper level it's about asking yourself why you're lacking core confidence - which isn't about achievements or approval but it's often about (subtle) childhood trauma and such (Julien has many free videos on that) - and for permanently changing that it requires diving deep into the subconscious with release meditation practices.

Wear something that makes you feel good. If you feel good, your act better.

There are plenty of YouTube videos about masculine confidence. I find making notes using their automated english transcription works good.
Make your own notes and review them when you have idle downtime.

Powerlifting helped me a lot. I am still not athletic but the increase in muscle mass and the natural large boost in testoterone helped me a lot
[–]chasingsukoon 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
hell yea, I look so much better at the same weight after 2 years of lifting. Next step is to get shredded tho which is the hardest part to do lol.

You need to empower yourself. Take a shower, wear good clothes, get some small victories, workout, restrain from masturbation, eat good food etc. Then just walk around people, and you will get so much positive feedback that it will certainly make you more confident.

All confidence is is experience or the belief in oneself from his accomplishments.
Be an achiever and you will be confident
