Meh, I kinda disagree with your opinion about confidence. In my opinion, confidence isn't thinking you are THE best, it's thinking you're YOUR best. Thinking you are the best is just plain arrogant. But knowing that you try your best in everything that you do, and being comfortable with the result, that is confidence.
Also, for other guys who want to know the difference between nice guy and kind guy, think of how you'll treat your mother or sister. You (should) treat them good without expecting sex(Alabama excluded), so treat other girls the same.
[–]Rikthelazy 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
What would you call the state of mind when you have no fears or worries about anything. I think that's confidence. I agree your with your example of nice and kind. Kind guys have respect for themselves and others that respects them but nice guys have no respect for themselves because they try to respect others that doesn't respect them.
[–]Theunaticus 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes, that ties in with what I said. If you know you give your best, you won't be afraid of the outcome, because then you know it's out of your control. There's nothing better you could have done.

Is there something I should know about Alabama?
[–]TemperateEnd 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Let's just say that, in Alabama, most people tend to drink from the exact same cup, if you get my meaning.
Probably not the best analogy I could have used, but still.

LOL. I got it now.

I’m not sure if I agree with the premise here, but think you’re on the right track. Women aren’t attracted to “bad boys” because they want something to fix. These “bad boys” just know what they want and go for it without hesitation.
Girls, or people in general, don’t want to hang out with people who put others before themselves - like you say, ulterior motives. It’s not genuine, usually. It also shows a lack of self-esteem, acting like a servant to others - which really isn’t a good look.
Trying your hardest at something, and genuinely trying, is what will make you stand out. It has little to do with being the ‘bad boy’ - that focuses on only one aspect/perspective of them. Why are they being the bad boy? Not just to be a jerk - being a jerk is a, possible, symptom of pursuing what you want and doing whatever it takes to get it.
Let’s say I want an A in a math class. Like really want it. Like god himself said, “if you get an A, I’ll give you a billion dollars”. I would bet you another billion dollars that I’ll try my hardest to get that A. The effort will be there, and that’s what we all want - effort. No one wants to hang out with someone half-assed and acts like a jerk all the time. They want to feed off your effort - to surround themselves with better people. If they think you’re on to something, they’ll be attracted to you - or your reputation of such.

Reminds me of the Book of Pook, that the attractive man is living out his imagination in reality. The regular guy sees a hot girl and thinks about her and goes home and masturbates, the attractive man approaches her and tries to act out in reality what he wants to do with her in fantasy. Jerks and Bad Boys also act out their fantasies in reality, often to the detriment of everyone else.

Glad commented this out. Masturbation is always cuck shit. Read easypeasymethod if you want to stop.

Some girls do want something to fix. I think it stems from childhood issues.

The fact of the matter is: we men ought to be nice guy with an edge or in other words: a good guy. A good guy is genuinely nice and has an edge, meaning he provides excitement. A man with a good heart and an edge, this activates the Niagara Falls in the lady‘s panties. And boy does she want him and he‘d better be ready

Yep.
That is what I am and yes I kill it and always have because this is the sweet spot that you should always shoot for.
Great post.

"Be a KIND guy. Give your hard-earned money away to women because they are women."
[–]Saurid 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's not the point, the point is when you do this, aka pay for the dinner etc. You do it because you want to and not because you expect anything in return. When you hold open the door and treat her nice, you don't want to manipulate her but just want to do it. You don't need to pay for dinner, hell not even hold the door open all you need to do is being honest and be kind, without expecting anything in return.
[–]staypushin 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link
Gentleman on dates, opens the door, pulls her chair out, walks her to the door after the date. This kindness you speak of is just nice guy stuff man.
The key is to be cordial but also be an asshole. If she makes a self depreciating joke the kind thing would be to disagree. But if she calls herself fat. Its a shittest. You pass such test by saying youre goddamned right. You're fat and fat in the right places. And thats what i like.
You can say nice things but being unpredictable with moments of assholeness makes the relationship less boring.
[–]RexTheOnion 30 points31 points32 points 4 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
your line is cringe as fuck. Sorry to be rude but if your prepared lines are that bad I fucking shudder to think of your improv stuff.
There is no reason not to be nice generally in life, the problem comes when you are nice when you don't want to be, when you should stand up for yourself, but don't, that's when people stop respecting you.
I guarantee I'm more of an asshole than you, but I still walk my date to her door cuz it's cute and women like it, it's a balance man, don't over think it.

no it's just badly worded and makes me think you're a virgin giving other virgins advice which is a epidemic on this sub.
All that cute shit is for snowflakes. That doesnt even turn them on.
Insecure alpha posturing aside, walking a woman through a bad part of town 100% can turn her on.

Plus, I live in a first world country, it's really not that dangerous lmao. also every action I take isn't exclusively to get pussy, that's pathetic.
[–]staypushin 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
You live in a first world country. We live two different realities. No argument matters at this point

Eh. No. You can be Kind guy gentlemanly and Nice Guy gentlemanly. With nice guys its an act. With kind guys they do it because they want to. If a kind guy is doing ALL of it, well, that’s what he wanted to do. Maybe he was raised to do all of that shit for his grandmother or something, so now its just natural.
A nice guy would do ALL of it, but its obviously an act, he KNOWS the chivalry procedure but he’s acting the procedure, not living it. Back to ulterior motive. It’s easy to pick out which people are living it vs doing it to get in someones pants.
Kindness and Niceness are two sides of the same coin. Kindness is the Head, Niceness is Tails
I don't disagree with the idea that people can simp on purpose.
But you give me the woman of my dreams, and she loves me too, I'm simping hard. Wouldn't think twice.
[–]DanniManniDJT 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree with you for some part. I think the problem with the nice guy is that the nice guy places himself below other people and he is nice so that the people ‘standing above him’, among which the women he wants, think he is nice. He developed a bad coping meganism for his low self esteem.
A kind guy, indeed, has a proper self esteem and is kind to others because he is a kind man and threats others the way he wants to be threaten himself.
People feel the difference between someone who is acting from a place of lack (nice guy) and from a place of self confidence and genuine kindness.
Bad boys also are not acting from this place of lack and they could even place other people below them (on the invisible social ladder), which for some women (indeed mostly young or very unsecure women) feels like they need to compensate and therefore fuck them.
[–]Internet_Frank 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
If nice guys aren't really nice why are they still called "nice guys". They should be called something else like "weak guys", "dishonest guys", "mama's boys", etc,,, You are just kicking the can down the road with the term "Kind guys". Tomorrows Kind guys will be just as despised as todays Nice guys.
[–]KingAJ032304 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's derived from the fact that nice guys call themselves nice guys
[–]Internet_Frank 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I could call myself the president of USA but that wouldn't make it true. Call them by their right name instead.
[–]AelfredRex 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
NiceGuy = "I respect you too much. I would never think of you sexually like those fuck boys.", but he totally is. He's dishonest. His energy is manipulative.
Bad Boy = Unashamedly undressing her with his eyes while thinking of doing things that will make her moan to the Goddess in praise. He's honest. His energy is sexual.
You don't have to be an asshole to be a Bad Boy, but you do to be a NiceGuy.
[–]timjuul2003 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Be a kind guy guide: be a nice guy
Why do we use words like nice and kind amongst men shouldn't we be using respect ? It makes more since when you out in terms of respect
[–]HandsomeHerb 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
i was with you until you said pay for dates
I would change kind to good. Being a good person and doing the right thing. Sometimes doing the right thing you won’t be acting “kind”.

or just a good guy
