It’s a lost cause. Used to date a girl with similar traits but thing was I was that cold and distant guy. Not so much anymore.. honestly just pointless relationship because it lacks a great potential of growth

If she can't handle warmth and cuddles and compliments... do you WANT to be cold and distant?

If she's attracted to cold and distant people, and you're not that type, you're probably just not compatible. Find someone who likes your bubbly personality.

this. you shouldn’t have to try and act a different way to attract someone.

If you had a friend that looks exactly like you, dresses exactly like you do, has the exact same job, hobbies and life experiences like you except that he has a different name and that person is your best friend. How would you advise him if he is so desperate as to go for a girl that he has to change himself for?

Avoid altogether is the strategy. Path to misery.

But the mental anguish is not really worth it, unless you really don’t care about people. Idk, ymmv but I can’t not feel something for someone I had sex with.
If that person is in a bad state, it hurts me too.

And let her never know what a true loving relationship looks like and feels like?….
[–]MO_drps_knwldg 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely not. Unless she is going to therapy and actively working on her issues, it is not your job to save someone. That is a toxic Nice Guy/white knight mentality that leads to misery.

Well, if she acknowledges her issues, maybe encourage her to get therapy.

She’s looking for someone opposite of that she needs to see the difference. Again, she needs love and attention, we all grow up and mature differently

I'd push them into the direction of therapy, personally.

Guys, a girl in that position, we don’t realize how to be loved. When it’s dating time, we now rely on our boyfriends to hold that masculinity in our lives. So patience, love, and a masculine man is a good start. And don’t look at her as a child. Look at her with respect, and when it’s time, those moments will heal. We want to hear our man talk to us, this is all we want in our men. Show her and tell her, she’s aloud to be whatever she wants. She can be in her rule as the female, and that’s what you guys like.

Lame unhelpful advice so far, OP wants this girl. I'm dating a girl with daddy issues now, but no expert at the subject or game, but I'll try to offer some thoughts. Just be a little more distant then usual, keep her chasing. Act more on the mature side, be a man, be a gentlemen, be giving - but not in a simp way. I thought girls with daddy issues want that in a man, because they never got any love from their father? Maybe this girl actually wants to fuck her dad. Anyways, when not together just be more on the cool, distant side - just use a bit less wording, less eager, take more time to reply.

Do that for the next years.

Means she’s generally attracted to guys who treat her poorly, if you can play that guy sure, personally I never could.

She has an anxious attachment style. Which works well with guys who have avoidant attachment styles. But it ends up being really toxic. So I guess your choice is that out find someone with a healthy attachment style
