Short guy here. Being eye level helps build a stronger connection imo. Strong game overrides the majority of the disadvantages of being short and being in shape helps a lot.

I'm like you between 5'4" and 5'5" and i have done really good cold approaches. I have this theory that I'm short but because of that I look less as a threat; so I know being short is not that attractive but we can still have good outcomes from it. I have given a lot of big surprises to guys way bigger than me; that's why I see it like not too attractive but it is like special skill too 😉.

Aside from that, I mean, it’s just your height there’s no advantage/disadvantage per se. I’d suggest you stop fixating over it and forget about it completely.

Just work on the things you can actually work on. It really depends on who you are on what the girl likes. I am on the shorter side, never paid any attention to my height and do okay with women.
