How old are you? The witty, cocky good looking dude game works for a while until you get older and most women have been around the block once or twice. The books and articles become more relatable as you and the game mature.

Dude I've been there, that's the point in life where it starts to work out for you. The next step you can take, is to learn to switch your mind off and do it completely from your guts. Learning mindfulness meditation is a quick and very good solution for that ;)

Everyone's a natural, we all have the genetic information to mate. Pickup is a vehicle to get men out there so they can realise this themselves. It's purpose is to give guys the realisation of "Oh, there's nothing wrong with me, women will like me, sex is a perfectly natural thing and really not that big of a deal, it's just two people getting each other off". You then outgrow pickup and leave it behind as you come to that realisation.

My story is very similar to yours, I was a natural. When I was a teen, I had loads of girlfriends. Kissed and experimented at a young age, then some trauma happened and it really messed up my perception of my self. I discovered pickup and went out 3 nights a week, failed miserably for years. It was hard as hell but it was all a journey to come to the realisation of where my problems actually lay, it was in that early trauma. I realised that I'm actually a really cool and attractive guy, as long as I communicate who I am honestly people will like me including women. Every now and then a woman comes along who really likes what you're putting out there and you guys hit it off. Therapy probably would have allowed me to come to that realisation earlier but pickup is a kind of exposure therapy anyway and I don't really regret getting into it.

Without those early nights I look back on nostalgically, going out with my friends and pushing myself out of my comfort zone constantly, I wouldn't be where I am now. Could I have done it better and quicker if I had taken a different path, sure but I don't know if I'd be the same person I am now.

I'm outlining a guide I intend on writing which will go into detail on my struggles and failures with women and how my perspective has changed years on. Whether it has any value I don't know but I just feel like I need to help some of the guys here out.

I'm just a huge fan of Game. I have been for years. I do think that learning, integrating, and mastering different types of game will give you options and insights that are worth having.

Exactly. Which is why most of the crap in this sub is just that...crap. They try to get you to follow a script and be someone you're not, which is very unnatural and obvious to others.

If you're having trouble with women, it's probably your anxiousness or lack of confidence. Work on yourself to make either of those things better, because you can't read confidence into existence.

Self-reflection should tell you that the entire journey was necessary to reach the point you are at. You learned what to do and what not to do. You made mistakes along the way. The reading had nothing to do with your mistakes. The mistakes were part of the learning process. The experiences are what led to your success. You can't know whether you were held back or propelled forward by all your readings, so giving advice based on that is untoward.

My advice is TAKE ACTION. I learned driving a car by practicing in the car not by reading and watching articles about how to drive all the time. TAKE ACTION but have a plan before you do that and analyse your approaches after.
