I posted these screenshots somewhere else and I was told by others that they thought it was creepy; her profile pictures had her on the beach, but I didn't want to directly reference it. I wanted to be cool/smooth and it looks like it backfired. I'm horrible at flirting and messaging over text and find it hard to maintain a balance between banal or platonic and aggressive or creepy. I can't read between the lines and figure out what a girl is really saying either. Being on the spectrum, I tend to take a lot of things literally in my daily life.
