I asked myself this question recently and I thought critically about my answer. Here’s what I concluded:

Everyone has a unique reason for why they do or don’t enjoy doing something and it doesn’t only apply to sex acts. Also people generally tend to overestimate how popular any given interest is. If we like or don’t like something, we usually think other people feel the same way.

Let’s view them as three different groups:

1) Women who do not enjoy performing oral sex and do not do so under any circumstances.

2) Women who do perform oral sex, but are circumstantial. This includes women who are not passionate about giving oral sex, but do so for their partner (such as your ex-wife); and women who are passionate about giving oral sex, but perform it only on men that they have an emotional connection with. We can’t ascertain the make up of this population, but it doesn’t matter because the latter doesn’t ~really~ enjoy it if they only perform oral sex on certain people.

3) Women who are very passionate about giving oral sex and never waste an opportunity to do so. These are your “head doctors,” your “throat goats,” and women who are perfectly happy with just performing oral sex and doing nothing else.

Men who enjoy receiving oral sex primarily prefer women in group 3. Members of group 2 either won’t give head at first, which could result in unenjoyable sexual experiences; or they will give head, but treat it as if it is a chore.

Based on the all the potential outcomes, if you were to meet a woman tomorrow, there is a 33.3% probability that she will be passionate about giving head.

Compared to the overall population, the answer to your question is no. ~Many~ women do not enjoy giving head. You are more likely to meet a woman who either doesn’t perform head or only does so under certain circumstances. Don’t get me wrong. It’s still a lot of women and people change their minds, but it’s not safe to assume that majority of women enjoy performing oral sex. You will be disappointed.

There are both men and women who enjoy giving oral sex to their partners. It may possibly boil down to how much the other person enjoys giving another person pleasure.

Unfortunately, when a relationship has gone downhill, either or both partners may lose the desire to give their partner or significant other pleasure and me be averse to things like oral sex as a result.

Doesn't reflect on you or your ex-wife. It's just the way things are. Human nature.

Asking this question doesn't have as much utility as you might think. Most humans lack the self-awareness to realize why they might want (or don't want) to do a particular thing.

So when you ask people a question like this, they are often going to come up with a reason that might make sense but have nothing to do with what their actual motivation is.

Which means you'll have to wait through a lot of nonsense or irrelevant stuff.

Plus, knowing why certain people might like or not like to give head, won't help with the pertinent thing, which presumably would be that you want to find a partner who likes the kind of sex you want to have.

Some people will not want the same kind of sex you want. That's not a knock on them but it's just the way it is. And dating is screening for people that you match up with. Part of the process is encountering people that you don't match up with.
