I've always been a fan of openly acknowledging my own flaws. I'm not talking about unwarranted self pity or self-deprecation, but rather simply talking about one's faults in a nonchalant manner when relevant in conversation.

I always figured it was a way to seem confident and comfortable in your own skin. Those who are open about their imperfections always seem admirable to me. But lately I've been second guessing that strategy with regard to sexual attraction.

I think it only helps your cause when it's about something she's already noticed and thought about pretty extensively. Otherwise, you're drawing her attention to it AND running the risk of coming across as insecure. If she hasn't already dwelled on it, then not only might she find it difficult to ignore moving forward, but it also gives her the impression that it's something you think about frequently.

What's your experience with this?
