Explain something to me: how can you focus on self-improvement, yet be okay with ignoring the fact that someone else is in a relationship?

sometimes girls are not in a real relationship and a lot of the time they lie about the boyfriend. I myself have never used any boyfriend destroying tactic. Girls that are just seeing a guy and calling him a boyfriend would be the case most guys are hopefully talking about, and not someone that is in a serious relationship because that is just not normal since theyre in a healthy relationship.

As for why they do this then maybe they are really into the girl and the girl is into them MORE then their current boyfriend which might not be as compatible with her than the other guy, so she ditches her bf for the new guy who will make her life better.

TBH it is their choice, but if theyre in a serious relationship and happy, then destroying the bf should be avoided at all costs.

The whole "Getting with a taken girl is a scumbag move" meme is misogynistic in my opinion. It assumes that women are property or at least not worthy of being responsible for themselves and their own decisions.

When we meet a girl, the exact value or nature of her relationships is her business not ours. It's not our job to make judgements or decisions about them, it's hers. We represent our interest. She represents hers. And we try to align them.

Due to the nature of our relationship when we first meet, I believe the concept of a 'boyfriend destroyer' has very little to do with any actual postulated 'boyfriend'. It's about how we react (or don't react) to how she represents herself.

Some people are so blinded with trying to pick up women that they'll do it at whatever the means. There are plenty of good women around who are single and this will always be so.

Men sometimes become so obsessed with finding women in order to satisfy their needs that they forget what it's all for.

Though to be fair, it takes two to tango. She would have cheated on anyone, the guy is just a bystander. That being said, I would never resort to breaking up a relationship in order to get to some chick. I know it's not worth it. The poison is in the intentions and the kind of desperate person you have to be to pull this kind of thing off.

Naturally though, if any girl of mine fell for it I would bid her good riddance and cut her loose.

Different people in PU have different goals and tactics. The ones who are looking for serious relationships, don't generally use boyfriend destroyers. I certainly don't. The only AMOG tactics I use are defensive...I'm not trying to steal someone else's woman or cock block anyone.

This may not be the common feeling across this sub, but here's what I've thought about "home-wreckers" or "boyfriend destroyers": If a guy can offer a girl more happiness than her current boyfriend why shouldn't she leave her boyfriend for the guy who makes her happier? This doesn't mean that I condone cheating, or sleeping with a girl who you know has a boyfriend, but I think that everyone deserves to be as happy as they can, and if someone's current bf/gf isn't the person who makes them happiest they have the right to end it with that person.

When you're no longer chasing the fantasy of "the one", you realize that there's nothing morally wrong with sleeping around, at worst it's just a minor case of lying.

The way I see it, guys who have a problem with is are those who still cling to illusion of purity and that they, themselves will one day find a girl to settle down with and she will never, ever cheat on him (hint: she will :) Probably )

That said, I do find BF-destroyer techniques distasteful. Why would you want to lower someone else's value if you know you are bringing more than your fair share to the table already.

High quality women are almost never single, they are always in a relationship. Even if they don't want to dump their bf, they always have a couple of potential new ones lined up. When they DO want to dump the old guy, you should already be lined up as her first choice.

What the old loser bf calls "cheating," is more properly called "sexual agency" or "personal choices." Calling those women cheaters and the guys dicks, is a scumbag thing to do. And it shows that you don't know how relationships work.

A woman deciding to cheat should be her choice, not yours. While it's certainly scummy to be hunting down women and influencing them to cheat when there was no inkling to do so before, being available when they want to isn't. If you weren't in the picture, would they still cheat? If so, fuck it.
