The context I used it in was at an event where the bathrooms were both full. Approached a 3-set of girls and had a great chat and exchanged emails (this was in a professional capacity, but it'll work anywhere).

"Entertain me for a minute while I wait for the bathrooms to open up."

But you could do this anywhere:

"Entertain me for a minute. I'm waiting for my friends."

"Entertain me for a minute. I'm waiting for the bus."

"Entertain me for a minute. I'm killing time."

Why does this work?

Because:

1) It's innocuous enough to not raise bitch shields.

2) It demonstrates confidence on your part to approach an HB or a set of people.

3) It sets a leading frame.

4) It's not something most guys would do.
