How are you gauging that these women have low self-esteem?

Tossing compliments at women needs to be calibrated. Attractive women, regardless of esteem hear compliments so often that it can be meaningless. Women with low self-esteem do not believe your compliment because it conflicts with their own self perception; you seem like a liar.

A genuine compliment is earned in some way. A generic, "You're beautiful" isn't very likely to be received well because it lacks specificity. "That dress was a fantastic choice, but it's wearing you as the fashion accessory" (not even a great example) seems more genuine, because it's less likely to have been heard before. Also, you're complimenting her CHOICE, which is process she went through. You're implying beauty by saying she outshines even her great choice. It's also a bit cheeky and slightly absurd and therefore interesting.

The woman v girl comment was probably a shit test. She was testing to see if you'd yield to her frame or stick up for yourself. A playful "damn, you spicy girlllllllllll" where you don't yield the frame, and in fact double down on it is probably better choice. She was likely turned off because you altered yourself to match her instead of talking how you want to.

You shouldn't be trying to lead with generic physical compliments anyways. It's about as meaningful as telling a tall guy that he's tall. He doesn't give a shit.

Adults like compliments about the things they do, not their genetics. If you're going to compliment, make it something about her style, personality, activities, etc.

This is an equality thing. You wouldn't enjoy being called a "boy", would you? For the same reason, using "girl" to describe a woman is being phased out. It'll be a slow process, but ya might as well try to be on the respectful side of history.

You focus on their personality and their traits rather than on the physical appearance. Simple as that.

Note that if she didn’t prove to be smart funny or anything like that, then she will call you out on your bullshit too, so don’t make it up. Try to be genuine and look for traits that you really appreciate from her.

I'd say 2 things. compliment her more. If you wanna sleep with a girl you need to have some value and you have comfort too. Shy, Low self-esteem girls usually need to have more comfort. Ofc you have to have some value too but how can you build comfort? pretty easy. Get to know her, spend time with her and compliment her maybe the best thing even if you're a bit needy with it, Its still fine

What I do when a girl says "No I'm not pretty/beautiful/etc." is say something like "you are to me". That makes it more personal, and it's worked pretty well for me.

Direct compliment can be resisted however. You are better of saying things indirect ones like "I like girls who are beautiful, so I thought I'd come over and say hi"

The other thing you need to be aware of is that telling her she is beautiful is that this is not going to get her turned on. What DOES turn women on is thinking about a hot guy, or her ideal man - and *THAT* should be the topic of conversation. Get her thinking about a guy that turns her on - in explicit detail - will transfer all the feelings that she has around such a man onto YOU (as you are the only man there). Once she's forgotten about the conversation the only thing she will remember is how she felt in your presence - and that will be a state of being turned on. You can then work with that.

Some women who don't consider themselves pretty (or who aren't trying to look pretty) may simply have low sex drives OR they require an extremely strong lead to push them into sexual situations. They're unlikely to ever show/admit desire and respond - but they may be OK with letting you have your way. This requires a lot of nuance to ensure that you don't overstep their boundaries however.

telling a tall guy he is tall or a model that he is hot is a fact not a compliment. If u compliment her looks pick some facial feature and describe why u find that one in particular hot, so she can see that its not generic but you thought about it or smth

People appreciate themselves for the choices they make. So compliment her clothes her wording her make up even and if it seems too friendly just add "thats hot" or smth at the end if she is into it

She’s not necessarily a “low self esteem” woman. She’s probably used to dudes saying shit like that to her, being unoriginal and she’s tired of it. Or she could have been on her period. But I doubt it’s because she doesn’t think she’s beautiful, you, if you are interested in her need to step your game up.

Me personally I wouldn’t call her beautiful, I would say hey I think your cute nice to meet you I’m flatdistance. Women give ALL KINDS of reactions to that shit. Most of them being confusion mixed with, ah shit another one, here we go 😒. But it’s the follow through that sets you apart. Simply start either 1 or 2 paths, make fun of her…. For anything. Just poke lighthearted fun at her reaction, then conversate. Or just start conversating.. say how long have you lived around here. Even die-hard lesbian or feminists have little choice if they see that your being conversational. Women love to talk (check previous responses for how I cold approached a lesbian).

But you also have to remember if she’s just being too bitchy. Just leave it, that number wasn’t for you anyways. Or it’s a get out of my face number.

I say if you already had the initial conversation had enough time to write a post and you expect to see her again and potentially get her number, than your doing to much and you need to move on. Theres way more women out there. There’s a lesson here, don’t take initial reactions to your opener seriously. That’s her way of screening doods out. Just open keep talking until either she says she has a bf, start walking away mid convo, or accept a date and give you her number. That’s it.
