I'm at a conference for my fraternity at a university with 2,000 undergrads and 1,000 alumni right now so needless to say there's a ton of dick and I've seen all of two women the entire time I've been here. I see this cute girl sitting on a rock reading a book and in my head I'm immediately like "GIRL!" so I walk up and jump on the rock and land right next to her an just go "Hi" and she says hi and giggle. I say "I know you probably haven't had any attention at all from guys so I figured I'd come make your day". She laughs and tell me he name and we talk. I ask her what she's reading and we start talking about books. We exchange some small talk and I sit down next to her (I was standing for about a minute talking). I think this is where either I get out of state or I feel her not reciprocating. She says she's in a relationship and she has to be at the dining hall in 5 minutes for her shift. I go "okay great I'll walk with you for the next 20 feet till we have to part ways" and I grab her hand. She laughs a little but is kinda taken aback and was like "I can't" or something. I left but felt pretty good. I'm embracing Tyler Durden's mindset that my world is a social experiment and god damn it's powerful. Feedback appreciated
