I've become really good friends with a guy from my college over the past 4-6 months, but I've noticed that whenever I go out with him, it's really hard to be the alpha, because he's a HUGE DJ in our city (not to give too much away, but he's worked with a couple big name artists, along with his own stuff). It's hard to compete with his level of DHV, because he has seemingly infinite stories as a DJ, among other things (this guy STARTED a fraternity at our campus), and to top it off, he's already a natural with women, even though he likes to play it off like he isn't. We're about even physically, both of us being 6+ feet (me a little taller) and in good shape. I'm in better shape, but he can dress nicer (he's a college student with a +60k/year income because of the DJing), but I'm stylish myself. We hang out a few times a week, go to concerts and such, and I'll be 21 in the next month, so I'll probably be hitting clubs/bars with him pretty soon also. He's a totally chill guy and awesome friend (he's even let me take girls back to his place when mine has been too far of a walk, haha), so it's not like he's AMOGing me, he actually tries to sell me over himself with girls.

So, question for you, Seddit: how do I compete with this guy when it comes to hanging around him and women.
