From my experience, scent is an underrated component of grooming and outward attractiveness.

The idea that a woman will be highly attracted to you or want to sleep with you solely on scent is ridiculous, but it does help associate you with positive memories and conveys masculinity.

I don’t wear cologne to necessarily attract women, but because I enjoy it and it helps put me in a mature, bold state of mind.

When picking a cologne, pick something that makes YOU feel bold and you enjoy, not necessarily what attracts the most females.

These are my favorites that I own. I used to never wear cologne, and went a little overboard last year.

Also—going to a store like Ulta and picking cologne is a good place to strike up a conversation with attractive females. When someone comes up to you and help, ask her what she enjoys and test out with her. You don’t have to agree/purchase her picks though.

Aqua Di Gio Profumo - This is my go-to. I feel like a boss every time I wear this.

Bleu de Chanel - This is is classy, and a good entry cologne. Dior Sauvage is a similar, little more youthful smelling scent.

Chanel Antaeus - This is from the 80’s and smells like it. Retro barbershop smell with some animalistic funk. A ‘I don’t give a fuck’, super masculine cologne

Dior Fahrenheit - Another don’t give a fuck cologne. Some people says it smells like burnt rubber/gasoline, which I agree with. Retro and smells amazing as well.

Crees Aventus - One of the most unique colognes you will ever smell. It’s $300 though. Mont Blanc Explorer is a cheaper alternative.

Mont Blanc Legend - I don’t particularly enjoy this as much as the others listed, but it’s my girlfriend’s favorite, so honorable mention.

Note: If you are simply looking for attention, I’ve gotten the most compliments wearing Antaeus and Dior Sauvage.
